Swiss I would have to say that I feel a little enlightened now. After seeing the diagram I may have to go buy a few new cd's and some clothes. I am thinking about picking up the latest by Papa Roach, Chevelle, and Breaking Benjamin. As for clothes I am going to get some Affliction and Tapout shirts and a New Era straight billed hat. I want to go as mainstream as possible.

It's kind of one of those things where you know it when you see it, but you can't really describe it on paper to the full extent.
a quick guide to spotting a hipster:

Image

*i would replace the nike shoes with toms shoes however, possibly a worn out pair of converse but as i see alex wearing them in his profile picture, converse might be as far from hipster as he is

**also when it comes to music, a hipster likes a band as long as no one has ever heard of them. as soon as they get the "alternative" label, said band is dumped.

Honestly, seems like there's more gays in the Army lol, the base I'm on has all four branches and I've noticed a lot more in the other than in the Navy with me.

Such a hipster that you don't even know what it takes to be one. NLK.

Seven years is no joke! I've never had Chuck's last more than 3 years (I did not invest in winter boots until last year, true story).

Just go through some old photographs of you and your Chuck's, listen to some relaxing music, and reminisce. And tomorrow? You can go out and buy more and start a lifelong (read: ~7 year) relationship with those Chuck's. And they'll be pretty much identical to your old Chuck's after taking a few months to break them in.

I'm here if you need to talk. I know you'll need friends now more than ever.

P.S. you have the best avatar of all internet forum avatars.

I think my Chuck's are just about nearing the end of their life. I figured if anybody, you could understand the loss that I am going to endure. I hate to think that I am going to part ways with a companion of seven years.
