IRC died out several years ago. Most people keep in touch and organize pugs/scrims via steam friends or xmvc vent.

Glad to see people are still very actively playing DoD 1.3.

Anyways it's been a few years since I really played the game, so with that said, are there any decent pubs up and running? is GameSurge on IRC still the normal way to connect with people? Is there a steam channel or some shit where people can find pugs?

Also, is there a way to make this game not look shitty and stretched on a 22" monitor that is set to 1920x1080?
