If you want some maps made, quit trolling me and the few others that are trying and give us a little support. And to be quite frank, i'm sick of people telling me DoD is dead when I see them in every season of TPG and playing in 12mans daily. If I can get a team of people to help me, and maybe set up a poll on 1911 or something and pass the word on, we'll see what the community really wants. (Too much hating for such an old game imo) but we'll see what happens. pm me if you are interested and we'll see who has some mapping/modeling talent and we can start something up again (but only after we see some sort of a poll)
You got flamed because you made a bad map that wasn't going to be played competitively in any way. You asked for feedback and people gave you specific things to change about your map like the dark ass textures that made everything blend together and the fact that you could shoot the other long player's feet going through that underpass before he could shoot at you, but you took it personally (e.g. "Gates and I tried this and got flamed on Gotfrag") instead of actually applying it to the map and then proceeded to be even more of an idiot. You should probably work on taking constructive criticism better before you start working on another map. Oh, you also had way too many boxes and doors and shit in mid and railings in that side alley that made getting around annoying as fuck. Good maps are simple.

It was a cool idea, but the one time (and I mean one time) I played one it was the cpl_mill(?) map for preseason. It wasn't even a bad map design, it just worked much better for CS.
I'd say take that energy you guys have and start up something from scratch. But, then again I'm no map maker.
What he said. Muhle (while I liked the map) felt nothing like cpl_mill. It seemed a bit too convoluted and the connector between storage areas was pretty much gone making it difficult for axis to rotate without having to pass through view of the allied spawn. The allied side of the garden cap was kind of a clusterfuck with that double door thing imo. Maps with isolated routes like aleutian don't get too much approval imo (with the exception of harry long, but that route feels a lot faster-paced). I remember old muhle playing better tbh.
