Leave the group or turn off the events if you don't like it. Why complain when you can fix it? Not trying sound like a dick. Event or Announcenment, works either way.

There are like 4 buttons to push. Announcement, Event, and some other things. Announcement pops up in the corner and goes away. Event just pops up and makes you hit close. It's a small difference, but it gets annoying when people spam it in a five minute span.

Please stop posting event's in the official blablabla steam group, by all means post an announcement. The events are just fucking annoying.
