No, I agree. People do need a place to find scrims, but one person shouldn't post 4 announcements in a 15minute period to get a 12man going. That's where the moderation needs to take place.

If everyone uses it for a good purpose and doesn't spam, than let it be. I think it's a great tool

I haven't been on when people are spamming it, but if you restrict the access then what is the point of having the group? It's the closest thing to mIRC that is left to find scrims. The best thing to do would be for idiots to stop posting so many times (whenever I use it, I put up a message once every 5-10 minutes). Then again, not many people would actually listen to that request. Take em' down, defrag!
