same here, and probably everywhere in the midwest, cox is basically cable, but with really good inet. At least with my experience (not this shit wifi i'm on.)

Also, It's just fiber, nothing really extraordinary. You should be more worried of ever being able to use your 125 MB/s download speed. Atleast it seems pretty cheap, for now.

Yeah, google is obviously going to save all your info when you use their fiber. Obviously, so they can spy on you and blackmail you and give you personalized ads.
OBVIOUSLY.

Also, It's just fiber, nothing really extraordinary. You should be more worried of ever being able to use your 125 MB/s download speed. Atleast it seems pretty cheap, for now.

Google held a competition for cities to be selected. Tons of towns went in on it... Kansas City won. Was hoping Duluth, MN would win... only 3 hours away from here, I'd be willing to move lol

I thought about switching to dsl, but the only way the price is decent is to get phone. The fuck needs phone service anymore.

Cant be any worse than cable companies like Comcast or Verizon FIOS. I am all for more competition in the TV/Internet at home game.

Talk about trying to take over the internet. While I'm suspicious of google and their data gathering practices, I can't help but want this to succeed. If they can really pull this off, it'll pretty much change the way we play games.
