DoD is 13 years old... That trailer was made for the retail release in May 2003 (1.0 not 1.3). Aside from all of the British shit that they added (I have no idea why they put so much of that in), that trailer made it look like Retail was a sizable upgrade to 3.1b (still my favorite). It looks totally stupid and like the worst game ever watching it now, but that wasn't the case when it was made (over a decade ago). I remember being excited thinking how much better it looked graphics wise than 3.1b...

Respect.
Dude, the b2.0 trailer was the motherfuckin shit. Voice commands, hand signals, deployable MGs, bazookas, goddamn I was excited for that game. Then it released and it took an hour to join a server until they released 2.1 rofl. Look at that... I can't believe that's even the same trailer I saw 12 years ago. Also, fucking WALDO. That guy was the man back in the day, bringing truth and justice to the retardation that was the DoD public forums hahaha.
+Rep for the Waldo reference. Waldo was the fucking man... shit I miss those days.

Don't make em like they used to, that's for sure.
My life is seriously lacking in the "dinnertimin" department.

I want to see gameplay, not some gussed up, cinematic version of what the game might look like if you never actually played the game and just watched the cut scenes. A bit off topic anyways, proceed as normal.

Fairly funny how, if I had ever seen that trailer, I may not have ever played the game. Am I the only one who thinks it is completely retarded for game makers to make these shitty, cinematic trailers? Actual gameplay footage would hook me much more than some cinematic POS that can make any game look entertaining.
