*edited* because CNN lied to me.

Here are two of the victims. May they RIP.

Krystle Campbell (29 years old. On the left, and probably the last photograph taken of her as it was taken that day and she is wearing the same clothes.)

Martin Richards (8 years old)

Let the victims alone you weirdos. Instead of digging out these kind of pics you should watch videos of people who tried their best to help the paramedics don't letting the casualties number rise. This guy here should've a medal, really. Lost his son on the recent Iraq war and instead of getting all revolted he devoted himself to peace causes. Though he is not american this guy is the true American hero.

He survived, from what I read earlier today. Completely amputated his legs and they had to drain some fluid from his abdomen, plus adding a lot of blood into his circulation. That's unreal. From that pic, he looks like he's got a matter of minutes left.

Me and some classmates (paramedics) were looking for pics of this today. None of us could find any, and then I came on here. 1911 is a wealth of information.

the bombs were filled nails, screws, ball bearings and rocks. cooked in a pressure cooker. scary as fuck. those nails probably just sliced his legs off. poor guy. and yea, hes in major shock. probably has most if not all of his dopamine and adrenaline pumping thru his heart.

Reminiscent of the Unabomber -Ted Kaczynski-, I watched a documentary on him once and that shit blew my mind.. Lived alone in a 10x10 shack in the woods building letter bombs. He would bike into towns surrounding him and mail them. All of his bombs were shrapnel bombs that he would load with metal scraps and shards. It's crazy that people can cause such massive destruction and yet be so distant from the world we all know and live in. Turns out the only way he was found is because he started writing manifesto's that were being published and his own brother realized it was him when it sounded too familiar while he was reading, eventually leading him to turn to the police and the arrest.

Kinda scary to think about, then look 180 the other way and see that US defense now has the ability to shoot lasers into the sky and take out missiles/rockets/arty/aircraft and realize the crazy shit we are all going to see in the future.

This happens nearly every day somewhere in the world. Good to know you only give a fuck when it happens here.
When you hear it 24/7/365 on the news, violence becomes commonplace. I don't think it is that odd of a statement to realize the actual impact these events have when it occurs close to home.

Re: Boston Marathon

Not saying I don't give a fuck when it happens elsewhere but I was just sayin' it has a stronger impact when it happens 10 miles down the road. Chillax

Yeah I definitely wasn't thinking of the past 12 years we've been fighting in Iraq / afghan getting blown up by IEDs just like these at all!
