I finally have a computer that can handle 60 fps movies...

You have always been one of the people who make movies that I can find tolerable to actually watch. I typically think you have good music selection, exciting frags (which says a lot because most 3 kills are boring, hi my movies) and always sync everything to keep the flow. Good job Evan, even though this is like seven months old.

The only thing that needed some work was filters and no sharpen tool, but at least you tried something different.

Good frags and editing.. While the first song didn't appeal to me, I did like the second song choice. Frags flowed really well with the music.

good catch! threw me off as well. I just have always hated the look of wireframe and have only seen it used really well in a few CS movies. otherwise it just always looks tacky in comparison to a wallhack view used well. thoroughly glad you didn't use the same level of sharpen from the intro for all of the movie haha. some maps just have areas where the sharpening sticks out like a sore thumb as do allied models.

again, good movie!
Thanks. Got the idea of making the wireframe blue from css movies, but doesn't look as good. I would have done something like what you did for your wall shots in your second movie if I knew how. That was different and looked nice.

Its just kinda broken. Sometimes I tweak the algorithm, but that doesn't change how much rep points you have, just the reputation power that you have. All moderators on the site have the ability to delete individual +/- reps, but i'm the only that can manually edit your reputation points.

Some of the mods have been pretty liberal in their use of their ability to delete individual +/- reps lately, so you should stop doing that or I'll just take you're shit away if enough people complain to me about it.

Like I said before, in the next update, the rep system is likely to get a reboot or go away completely.

Re: bullgooselooney - bgl RELEASE

by rehpyc » Mon May 20, 2013 10:31 pm

while I don't know if my rep has increased or decreased, since I don't really care what its number is, I know it's changed recently w/o a pos/neg rep done. and Sears has mentioned prior that the algorithm will at times make numbers go screwy, or he'll choose to make adjustments to the algorithm itself.

Thought you would like those flags added in :D . Shelly found the perfect pics. I don't think most people can tell how well that last song was synced. Had plenty of shots were you would have to have almost no gun sounds to tell.

Onto a more serious post. I believe that Evan is one of the best at frag/music synchronization, if not the best, out of all the movie makers out right now. My opinion may appear bias, and maybe it is, but there is a level of subtlety exhibited by no one else other than Evan. It seems that a lot of movie makers try to choose music that compliments their Aggressive/passive playstyles. Evan on the other hand molds the frags around whatever song he chooses, irregardless of the tempo. I really enjoyed this movie. I remember some of his first videos and it's impressive to see how far he has come.

Just so you know i noticed the "I'm jumping out," portion and picked up on it right away. Very different and very cool.
