It seems a lot of people get caught cheating in 12 mans and srims, get a ban on TPG and then a week or so later they are back scrimming and 12 manning with everyone again.
I kinda wondered how accepted that was in the community because people in vent are usually a little reserved and just let it slide just to get the game started and played.
Personally it bothers me to know I am playing against someone who was banned for cheating, that doubt that they are still cheating will always be there regardless of how much time passes since the ban. Equally I don't feel right playing WITH someone who was banned either as I feel it's unfair for the other team and it also kinda makes you look guilty by association, at the very least people are going to think "oh they knowingly play with cheaters and don't give a shit".
Only got a few examples as I haven't been playing with you guys for very long but here goes anyway:
-Nicholson: When Nicholson was caught it was a bit of a shock as we had spoken to him quite a bit in vent and played against + with him several times, after he got his ban he scrimmed with us a couple of days later and I only found that out about 2 mins before the game started as he was fake nicking, I gotta admit I felt pretty awkward, both for us and the other team.
-Sizzzzurpp: Siz being banned from our team was closer to home and the guy even lied to us about cheating (we asked him if he did or not before his ban and he said no) which sucked balls. I liked the guy but as far as dod goes I am not going to play/speak to someone who lies + cheats so I don't. We 12 manned the other night and he joined vent only to be kicked from the server by ducks request, after he left vent someone did say "I don't feel comfortable playing with siz" and tbh that's the correct attitude to have IMO.
-Frenchies Believe: Joined a 12 man a while back with Frenchies Believe and he ended up on our team, we won and the other team called hacks, I didn't know who he was or that he had been banned till after but yeah kinda shitty to get on a team with someone who goes 45-11 or whatever only to find out he was caught cheating.
-vVv Be le air: Played a few scrims a while ago with VVV and they had Blair playing for them who also has a tpg ban for cheating. We were made aware of it in vent before we played and to be honest I wondered why anyone would want to play with a cheater but apparently they are all good friends and he says he doesn't cheat any more lol - so we just played.
Like I said, I am just wondering what people think when they get a cheater on their team or on the opposite team outside of tpg, do you care?
Luckily I don't know anyone very well yet so I can hate all cheaters equally without having any mixed feelings on the matter
