This post turned out to be long and not very organized, reader beware:
I had a lot more fun on a65 than b2. I also helped ace with suggestions and was looking at the map at every step so none of this is a surprise to me. That being said, there's just a few things that I want to point out.
That broken door/window thing in hotel is VERY awkward to get out of in a hurry, I still feel it's pointless and doesn't add a lot to the gameplay when you get stuck because you're a fatass in a hurry. Removing that little piece of wall at head level would be an easy fix I think. Does it block any angle? I haven't actually thought of that, just been frustrated with it lol..
I found it very hard to hit a guy standing behind that small box in that "flower alley" as I was calling it. It was a fun place to fight for, but many bullets were wasted on many occasions trying to shoot around that box.
I still hate rubble in hole, that table or whatever it is is so annoying, the dirt is fine, but that table I always get stuck on it at the worst times. Also I never once went in that left alley when you go through hole. That's not really a problem I guess, just something about it, I don't really like it. lol
Something I saw during pregame, when you're allies in your loft hallway looking at the alley from the hole in the wall, you can easily see the axis' lower body and they can't see you at all unless they're peeking up close to the wall, seems like a pretty lame angle. I don't know how much of a problem that was for anyone but it seems potentially annoying as fuck.
Another thing I saw but didn't really get to test out since I never went bridge, both paths from bridge to allies first are practically side by side, I don't know if that was really a problem for anyone but it seems really simple to hold since they're both so close.
Another potentially useless observation, in my match both teams weren't even close to a capout on axis, while each team's allies side got plenty of chances to cap, they capped twice on us as allies and I was at the first A LOT.
Some more random things. I really liked long/mountain/whatever the fuck we're calling it, as allies! The upper entrance that is a cave now instead of a dinky ass door is really awesome. It seems so predictable and easy to watch, but it's amazing how many times you can do a lot of damage with the right peeks and luck. Ramp is still a nightmare though lol
Good job so far ace, I know making so many changes to a map sometimes ruins it, because some would rather just stick to a version and get used to it, but I feel the changes being made are for the better!
