Played DoD in the match last night just fine, but then I try to load DoD and this is what happens:
That is my
whole screen. I cannot see anything else. As you can see, it is impossible for me to access the video options to change the video settings in attempts to fix this issue. Let's review the things I have done:
1) Messed with the launch options in attempts to change the resolution, full screen/windowed, and opening in OpenGL vs. the other settings (-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd -width 1200 -height 684 -nofbo -gl -full)
2) Reinstalled DoD.
3) Reinstalled Steam.
4) Set computer back to an earlier checkpoint.
Now earlier Andy Sheen had me delete the Half Life folder and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file, or whatever that is. That worked briefly, then the settings reverted back when I loaded DoD again.
Beginning to think the solution is either remarkably simple, or something stupidly complex. Thoughts?
