anyways though i thought i understood the gist of yaw/pitch for mouse movement. this caught my eye which seems messed up ---

so trying not to ramble on, question begs again are there any other commands that mess with the game too much? there are plenty i barely understand in the sense of real difference in game play vs aesthetics. cl_lw and cl_lc 1 or 0. pitchdown/up. are half of these controlled by server? and does the tpg config make sure of backspeed so my value doesnt matter? shall i just copy paste my whole config into the ticket and hope the admins scroll through it so i dont get a 2 week suspension. this never seemed to matter before, just no hacks, scripts and rating.
If you would like to submit a ticket with a config, I would suggest doing that. Configs always mattered, but there was no way to check without the implementation of a client.

Yes, TPG asks for default settings for those listed cvars. If they dont appear in your config that is because they are already set at default and have not been altered. You can also check what these cvars are set at if you dont see in your config by opening dod then typing the command in console, before you enter anything you should see the console suggest an auto-fill with what the cvar is set to at that point in time.

Are all the commands they want default?

cl_bob and cl_bobup prevent the player camera from moving both side to side and up and down as the player moves. I often use cl_bob 0 and cl_bobup 0 when I pub because in DoD the levels are so high that I actually find myself getting dizzy from time to time, which is why these cvars exists, because some people are very sensitive to motion sickness and can't play if the bob is set too high.

You're screen shouldn't shake violently from being at default levels, but make sure you are only doing cl_bob and cl_bobup, and not cl_bobcycle which is a totally different command.

Honestly, bob and bobup don't effect your aiming in DoD quite like they do in CS (which is why they are traditionally illegal, see below) and I think it's worth considering allowing them to be set at zero for the genetic anomalies like myself who are prone to motion sickness from shitty video games :(

On the TPG site it says "cl_bobcycle .08" which is a typo, the default is 0.8 so just change it back to that and it'll stop the shaking.

Help with new cvars?

I'm having some trouble with these new cvars on the rules list. First i'm not sure what half of them do and over the years changed of few myself or was given advice to change something. But i've added these cl_bob commands which were never in my configs except cl_bobup and now my screen/gun shake violently.

i'm not sure if some other command is interacting with this but i'm clueless. it'd also help if there was a bit bigger list of what default commands are now needed as ive recently been kicked from a server for gl_polyoffset, something ive never messed with. I doubt ive been playing with some unfair advantage as im pretty terrible, but all the same i'd like to make sure ive got everything in the right order.

i also hope none of this is self-incriminating as that would just suck
