steam os sounds cool but why would i want it if i already run steam on my computers' current oses? does it actually function as a real linux distro os or is the interface strictly meant for TV steam related stuff, the same way a console's os/firmware is more specialized? if that's the case i don't see what the big deal is as i'm not going to be setting up all these custom tv rigs. it would be like if sony or ms made their console's oses free to use. like, so what lol. who cares. too specialized for it to matter.
