Here is a different Map. There's a total of 6 maps.

Some of these kids think they are the cutting edge of competetive play.
It's my bet that any average dod player from here would be dominating this scene inside of a week.

Come play this free game with us.

Looks cool! but I imagine using it in hawken would be like using it in dod.

Apart from the novelty of it, I might expect to be at an instant disadvantage over mouse and key players due to the speed of the game (which is comparable to dod, quake, unreal, etc).

The hawken community seems to have panned it and left it for dead.

The old steel battalion with the controller was ambitious and cool.

The newer steel battalion for kinect sans the old school controller was a shitpile.

Also if you're into your occulus rift set up, hawken supports it in the game menu.

new patch out today, they say the free download will again be available today after 5pm est. at http://www.playhawken.com/

Haha, yeah that was it, Steel Battalion.

They made one for xbox360 but you could only control it via the kinect and it was terrible.

But, it looks like they do have a controller for Hawken.

You're probably thinking of Steel Battalion, which was the shit that came boxed with it's own custom control system

looks like you can still pick these up in the box for around $150

You can most likely use one for this game, however;

Hawken is a u3 engine class-based shooter first, unlike historically slow and tanky mech games.

You can see what the heavies look like and I believe I get a kill on a "tech" (medic) in that vid.

I use mouse and key and prefer the light autos.

It's totally free, and I'm confident that anyone in this community would be able to enjoy dominance in this game within a week.

Do they have the epic custom full desktop controller like they had for the old Hawken?

This game's competetive scene is about to ignite.

This game is in open beta and it's a free download, it's really well done.
