you'll have to buy the 3d glasses for the light boost to work without trying to do a hack for that version of the monitor. I have it and got it to work with a hack but it took forever... then i formatted and said fuck it..

Its a great monitor but if you really want the best of the best the benq is probably just a little bit better... if you're willing to spend the money for that little bit..

flux is pretty awesome. I have it on a laptop and I had it on my iphone when it was jailbroken.

well thanks for the advice. I think i'm going to go with the benq, though now that i've looked even closer there are so many. 20t 20tx 20te 11t. the one I posted though seems to be the newest and with 144hz not just 120. might as well spend just a bit more and get something with the right features. but that crosshair overlay on the Asus would make being captain in 12mans a bit easier haha

I have the older benq monitor the 10N or something like that. I've had it for a year or 2 now and zero.complaints from me. I've never had any other 120hz monitors so I can't compare but once you switch to.120hz anything less is terrible on the eyes lol

People really underestimate how much the brightness can fuck you up. I'm using an Alienware 120hz that has like 400 brightness and it was killing my eyes....I had to lower to to 60% ish as well.

New Monitor Choices

So bless her soul, my wife supports my horrid gaming habits and is all for getting a new monitor for my setup this holiday season.

Problem is I'm stuck between two obvious choices. It's the little things each has that I just can't put a finger on which I'd end up happier with.

Of course im looking for higher hz, lightboost, 3d, low MS...ect ect. It's all there, but I just read something about the BenQ having no PWM for eye strain? I thought that could be big down the road. Any thoughts?
