Thunder v braindead
Thunder has started another season off strong with a win against the new guys to invite, KliQ. This week though they play on somewhat an unfamiliar map, and from what I know a not so popular one in the Thunder crowd. If they can get over how much they hate this map they may realize that it actually plays to their strengths of having strong rifles, Dorito and Tox, and snipers Pat or Jgn (whichever plays). Braindead faces a big challenge this week against one of the constant favorites for the invite title. They will need a big game from blech and m!stadobalina, and have to really focus on the heavy side of the map if they intend to stand a chance at willing. They are hoping that their new additions, Fluxx, and Shogun will also be there to pitch in their worth, but unfortunately I do not think they will have the overall skill or teamwork this early in the season to take out a strong Thunder team.

Chuck's Money Crew v. Highball
Last seasons invite winners, Chuck's Money Crew (formerly g.skiLL), have gotten off to a good start by beating a very game dgf last week, and this week they may be able to put another win on the board if they keep up their teamwork. While this may be a relatively new map in the rotation, milo has seem to grown accustomed to the allied heavy side, showing he knows what he is doing in 12 mans. While yes, I know, 12 mans are one thing, a match is another, but I believe mile should have the same success this week as well. CmC should have Motiv sniping, with Greetz going bridge, which is a scary combination on any map. Highball will have their own powerhouses to combat then as nomis should make it very challenging for CMC to get bridge, and with vertex and ck heping him it will make it difficult for them to accomplish capping it. Also highball has dragged seanality out of the woodwork as he just recently joined their roster (I assume to backup) but he will bring much needed depth to this team. It will really depend on if Highball will be able to stop the CMC heavy team if they want a chance a victory this week.

Players to watch - Greetz, Milo, Nomis, Vertex
dirty ghetto f*cks v. =KliQ=
Both teams are coming off of losses going into week 2, and both are looking to put those losses behind them and carry forward. dgf will look towards K4boom to completely dominate the heavy side, and as arguably one of the best heavies in the game he should do just that. Watchyourback and Justin will be working on the bridge side and push for that full cap. Head to Head, KliQ has the weaker of the individual skill in this match so they will need to heavily rely on teamwork in order to push back any dgf advance. Shots will have his hands full on the heavy side, and Arachnid will have to come up big on the bridge in order to stop dgf on axis. If KliQ can hold back k4boom while he has the bar, they may just have a chance to win this week, but as it looks on paper, dgf will have this one in the bag.

NoGo Gaming Faction v. 3xtreme Humiliation
Last week 3h had to forfeit for whatever reason, so hopefully they will show up this week. If they do, expect Will Ward to do some great things on the heavy side while stealth holds off any NoGo advance on the bridge. If they can copy the same teamwork that they showcased last season in Main, they should be able to take this one. Nogo on the other hand had a difficult week last match, dropping a loss to Thunder by over 300 points. It is the same as always for NoGo, if they have the people show up they can easily compete, but it all depends on people actually showing up.

Renamed.US v. Golly
Golly has a strong team for main this season, and with players like Jonski, Super and Karl1 everyone knows how well they do in scrims. Though as I have mentioned previously scrims are different than matches, and they will need to transfer their scrim success this week if they wish to remain unbeaten against Renamed. Last week Renamed had a drag out fight against walmart shoppers, and as arguably one of the upper main Teams, Renamed will have continue their success this week to prove they are worthy of that distinction. If Jonski has a great game it can mean all the difference, so this match really hinges on how well he plays. Right now though I give the advantage to Renamed, but just barely.

inXtremeis v. Veni Vidi Vici
VvV unfortunately did not play last week, so they will have to showcase their new team this season against inX, and with Jakimo back in town, and adding avenger as depth to their roster this season, they should be able to take them. Expect Fifty, Crankkk, and Dan to do well this week as this map plays to each one of their strong suits, and with Marl_Fox dominating on the heavy side they should be able to get a couple full caps on allies. inX will really need to have big games from Nico and empy if they want to win, but if they do start getting in a groove, they can be almost unstoppable. This week though the advantage goes to VvV.

infinite v. walmart shoppers
Both teams are coming off losses this week, infinite to 38th, and walmart shoppers to RenameD.US. Those losses though do not show how talented these teams are. Walmart shoppers have Paintball, who is a great player in his own right, but he will need some support from "supposed DoD legend" Tony Montana to step it up, and D-Bo if he plays to focus on teamwork rather than complaining. If they are able to come together as a team they will be a force in main this season. Inifite are no slouches though, with joey and ana compiling a great roster this season with ngz and rob64, they just need to tweak out their teamwork themselves to be able to start winning some matches. This week though all focus will be on Paintball and the bridge. If he is able to push through it may be all over for infinite.

Merrill's Marauders v. Intense Intents in Tents
This week 475th gets their wish as they make their main debut, but as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for as it just may come true. This week they take on former invite and newly named i3 (previously 92dt). Unfortunately last week i3 had to take a loss against massacre in somewhat controversial form, but I don't think it will hinder them at all as long as they come back together this week. With Bear anchoring a strong lineup with carpenter and new additions Str!der and jkid they should not have troubles fielding 6 this week. 475th counters with a strong lineup of their own, leading the charge is E-Machine, with tugger and newly added Kicken who will at least bring some moral to this team. This week though I think 475th may just be a bit outclassed, but I am sure they will find success this season in main.
