As the Upper and Lower Finals are not being played on the same day, there will be a separate thread for each. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to conduct interviews. Schmiggs will be joining me again to give his predictions.
Lower:
(2) 1080p vs.
(8) Heavy Hitters
The leading sand-baggers of lower finally make it to the tournament finals. This finals match should be a great one to watch. 1080p with the cuddly nugz and recoil-less cheebz face the Heavy Hitters with Khoi and the amazing sensation apple. If Khoi's internet doesn't assfuck him, he'll have no problems squaring up against Skinnnnnnnnto, unless he gets the support from nugz and Mr. 1blzD. defiance will infuriate whoever he goes against because he plays a very timid coL|chaos/habib style that usually has him giving the dirty deuce to the ground below him. The heavy matchup should be interesting. cheebz and Heineken should make neet and dt earn their stripes the hard way unlike last week when they just sound-whored/shit on us mountain. I'm not looking at a blowout here, whoever can control the bridge "Z" and the sundial room on either side will put enough pressure on the other team to miss out on a ninja and give up a cap.
Schmigg’s pick: 1080p by 30
This is a match of two teams that nobody would have predicted to have made the finals at the beginning of the season, as 1080p had a completely different starting 6 and HH didn’t even exist. However, both proved from the midway point to be serious contenders and neither is a big shock to be here now. Each starting roster is pretty solid, which will put a premium on communication and teamwork. Anzio is a map where you can lose control of both two man caps in a heartbeat, so it will be interesting to see if either team can dominate one of those caps and use it to assist in taking control over the other. HH has solid players going both routes, but I think 1080p might be more talented and have proven to be a cohesive unit. I believe1080p will be able to establish enough pressure on plaza with ceebz and heineken to make it even more difficult for HH to fight for bridge. Khoi and apple may have a slight edge on that side, but it doesn’t seem like it will be enough to overcome 1080p.
