Anyone watching the Mayweather bout tonight? Couple 40 win guys squaring off in the ring!

Really can't take this fight to seriously. How does Gustafsson get a title shot? Gustafsson beat one top ten fighter, after he lost to a higher rank fighter in Phil Davis. and now gets a shot! UFC doesn't even do the rankings. Its like college footballs media voting like the AP TOP25. Like #20 Wisconsin losing to #4 Ohio State and then beating #8 LSU then playing for the national title.

I see articles preaching on how Gustafsson is an inch taller, too bad his reach is 8 inches less. I could see Gustafsson getting a shot if he beat Shogun in a convincing fashion by KO/Submission but, the fight went to a decision. The score was heavily in his favor (30-27, 30-27, 30-26). You have to finish that fight to get that shot though. Thats just my opinion.

Love to hear some other opinions on it though.

LHW is deeper than HW, MW, FW, BW, FW.

Jones is a real tough matchup for anyone, but he has one of the best possible chances to beat him because of reach. Jones is so effective with using his long arms and especially legs to his advantage. He uses his kicks like jabs for christ sake, so that no one can ever have him in range. However, Gustafsson has a very long reach as well. He has a chance, everyone has a chance, look at that bum Weidman. I think it is a small chance, as if you look at his resume, he just hasn't had to fight a lot of the other top tier fighters and I think he might be a bit overrated. He beat a declining, over the hill Shogun, no fight with Machida, Hendo, Evans, hell he lost to Phil Davis. Phil Davis will be the man to take out Jon Jones.

his body type is the perfect match for Jones at 205, but unfortunately I don't think his skill set is quite there yet. I think the striking ability of Jones will give him the edge on the outside, and if he goes to close the distance, he'll be at even more of a disadvantage. Should be a very interesting watch, though! He could shock the world.
