I have seen a lot of war movies, and have played dod on and off for 13 or so years... I have watched demos, and listened to ventrilo's,and shoutcasts during matches. I know more about war than the average person.

reading comprehension, lost to the masses. by the way, anything you learn in school, i can find on the internet and read about. im not going to spend the time tracking down everything ive read in 10+ years on the subject just to satisfy your silly requests for information thats largly based on opinion and local societies. side note, history(specifically related to ww2) is an intense love of mine, and i will never say i know how combat troops feel. but i can say i (not fully) understand the social difficulties they have trying to integrate back into society via the massive amount of literature available on the subject from first hand and medical perspectives.
i dont even know how this got turned onto me, all i said was that being a parent doesnt make you the only one capable of passing judgement. somehow that becomes insults to me personally and means im judging the situation. hint: i never judged anyone on this thread. frankly its pathetic that your argument holds up so well you resort to personal insults to justify your viewpoints.
i find it amusing how i try my hardest, harder than anyone who doesnt have the issues i have can possibly imagine to keep my arguments civil and i get insulted. every fucking time. its like having a different opinion is somehow so fucking wrong that its worth personal insults to a man you have never talked to in depth. like im saying to gas the jews or some shit.
ps, if i was stationed with combat troops to observe and move with them, i could say with confidence i understand what they go through. because while i didnt shoot the gun, i was there when they got shelled. i was there when they lost a friend. i was there when they took a town. your argument is invalid on its premise.
