whoa
probably just had the norecoil glitch for this clip, as it went away when i reloaded. all good
Except you had some recoil at the double windows, only to have it missing when you're on balcony.

Seriously. Can the people saying that the balcony shot wasn't sketchy just NOT see what is going on? Not understand it or comprehend the logic in this thread that makes sense...but actually watch the video and see that you have absolutely zero recoil? It can't be the ammo glitch that makes it happen because you already have recoil beforehand. I've seen demos lag in movies and (from the ones I've seen) the video skips. The recoil just doesn't disappear for 2 seconds.
In the end, it's like you are just closing your eyes and saying, "Yeah, I watched the video. I didn't see a thing."

ceebz kills the kid from double windows, and then has two sets of sprints before he crouches for the balcony kill.. when you sprint, your gun isn't hidden and doesn't show on the screen.. correct? i think the fact his gun isn't visible after he gets the double windows kill (due to his sprinting) has something to do with it. it's like the same exact same thing as quick switching how the gun model disappears when you quick switch or sprint.
notice how he has recoil after he reloads and sprays for the kill at lower apts? lol

you're saying that the glitch is caused by reloading.. how come it doesn't happen every time i reload then..? the no recoil glitch isn't caused by reloading.. it's a glitch. it's random. you can't do it on purpose.

Are you prepared to comment on past allegations regarding Mr. Rowden's dismissal from team eximius by well-known cheaters The_Game and baloo because Mr. Rowden allegedly cheated too hard even for them? Surely the statute of limitations has run out on that alleged offence and you can make an official statement on the matter.

If I'm thinking of the same thing, you're talking about the glitch that lets you look through a scope with your pistol (or any other gun if you drop the sniper), right? That's not random. You hit the scope button and then quick switch. Bam. To get rid of it, you either have to die or still have a sniper and hold down your scope button until you're actually scoped in (I've never seen a third way to get rid of it). As for the no recoil glitch, I've only ever gotten it when I spawn. And very rarely. When you reload, it goes away. Not from sprinting because gun leaves the screen. You are just pulling at straws now.

i think for this glitch you can also just right click repeatedly until it goes away (usually takes about a second). theres the reload glitch with the sniper as well which can be solved the same way

i was being sarcastic about not knowing the scope glitch or how to get rid of it lol.. you double right click (or double click your scope button) and then quickswitch and it's gone~
but yea i think the glitches are random and aren't caused by simply spawning or reloading your gun

As it stands, your best defense of ceebz hinges on your "best guess" of DoD glitches compared to people more experienced than you. Hope you realize that.

Shoot with your sniper. Quick switch to pistol, shoot the pistol. Quick switch to sniper, reload, rezoom.

I do have more experience than you. So does stealth, so does moosh, so does Joey, so does Sears. That is objective. We've all been around longer than you playing at high levels of competition (some like Sears and moosh having much more experience than myself, of course). Do you want to let the DoD community decide who is more knowledgeable and has more experience between you and the group of people listed...? Or, forget being modest, who is more rational [and intelligent]?
Of course you criticize every opinion with sarcasm as you have been doing this whole thread. You have the rationality of a 14 year old girl, just so you realize. Every argument you've made in this thread has been off-topic or has not addressed the points that have been raised. You've been defending ceebz with zero substance. There are two potential conclusions:
1) You are dumb and do not understand what we are saying.
2) You are trolling, but trolling in a really stupid way. Acting mentally retarded for the sake of "trolling" is piss poor trolling. At least be clever.

You're right, none of the players on any of those teams have a clue about DoD.
Was totally just pub clans back then...
I would never make an argument that I know anything more about DoD than the current top players, and I would definitely put taylor into that category. Not because that might not be true, just because that's not my personality.
However, I think you're missing the point that Alex was trying to make. I explained my position on ceebz's recoil as objectively and as detailed as I possibly could. It isn't an emotionally charged opinion, just what I can gather based on the limited evidence that I have available to me, and in situations like this I will always concede that I may be wrong. But, that's only a product of being an AC admin for years in CAL and learning from the number of times that I actually was wrong.
I've been doing this for
11 years (not that I'm particularly proud of that, lolz), and this obviously is not the first time I've tried to figure out if someone is using anti-recoil or not.
Taylor's arguments (and now your argument?) has essentially been limited to "lolz you guys are bad and dumb".
This is obviously a very weak position for any argument, so I won't go into that any further.
Side question, are you seriously under the impression that nerds who are super nerdy about DoD now are somehow more nerdy than the nerds that were super nerdy about DoD when you were 10 years old? (2003).
I'm not really buying it.

Wow you took the bait hard. I saw the clip and it was a bit sketchy, but I don't think it is that big of a deal.
I was just trying to rile someone up, but my argument was not "you guys are bad and dumb."
In this day and age it is ridiculous to compare levels of experience. I admit I don't have the experience in specifically LOOKING for cheats, but I have played this game long enough to have an educated opinion. Just because kirk has played a couple years more than taylor makes his opinion weigh more? Or is it because he played at "higher" levels of CAL before? We were all scrimming the same teams and the same people. I am not trying to argue for who is legit and who isn't. I just believe we should be past the whole "I went to CPL and therefore I am right and you're wrong."

What is ridiculous? Some people have more experience than others when it comes to game play, how the engine works, what cheats look like, etc. Am I a pro? Hell no. Sears' mini essay earlier shed some insight on things I'd never even heard of. He knows significantly more than I do. Similarly I'm willing to bet I know more than Taylor. This thread is a testament to his lacking ability to think critically.
Some opinions are more valuable. I know that hurts some people and their delicate "all opinions are equal" perspective of the world, but it's true. Opinions rooted in reason and facts (such as those that have presented in this thread) are more valuable than people who back up their claims with sarcasm and "LOL."
I didn't go to CPL. But I'm still right.

I agree with a lot of this. The problem is that my arguments are (insert objective and detailed arguments) where as taylor's have been more (lol you're dumb and bad, pz late).
Alex is pointing out that it could be that the reason my arguments (and others) have come from such a different place than taylor's, are because of those years and years of "experience". I don't necessarily think that's true, as it's just as plausible that taylor is just being cunt for the sake of being a cunt because it's funny and that's all he knows. To that, I would say he's lucky that this community is so tolerant of such behavior, as this certainly wasn't always the case.
+1 troll defense btw.
