Relax, lounge around, and find out who hacks.

btw, i didn't read the thread.

He reminds me of people who think they are smart by acting extremely stupid for the sake of trolling, when in reality not being clever enough to troll with an ounce of creativity just shows how stupid you are.
I'm sitting here laughing because you think me stating something that is objectively true (look up the word 'objective' - I imagine you'll struggle with it) is boasting. Again: you have the critical thinking skills of a menstruating 12 year old girl. Laugh all you like, but everyone in this thread who isn't on flawless (save for two flawless members who have PMed me, actually) are laughing at how unbelievably dumb you are. Aren't you 18 or 19 or some shit?hXc wrote:i'm sitting here laughing because i find it comedic that you feel the need to boast how you have more "experience" than myself in a video game. congrats.

My goals are strict weight loss. I used to run. ALOT. In the past 2 years i've pulled both calf muscles twice and as a result, have not been able to run, which resulted in weight gain. The gym and riding a bike for 20 miles isn't cutting it.alex kirk wrote:I thought you were talking about mental insanity lulzlulzuluzluzlulz. I was like, damn, that's deep. ANYWAYS. Umm...what are your goals? Looking for a cardio routine? Go for it. Looking to actually do anything for your muscles/anaerobic strength? You could find significantly better things to do.
Your best friend in weight loss is always, always lifting heavy weights. Period. This includes people who have no interest in gaining muscle. But it you're not interested in doing it, then something anaerobic like P90x/Insanity will certainly work, but it won't be as good as lifting weights.defiance wrote:My goals are strict weight loss. I have no interesting in muscle mass, but i heard great success stories from people on P90x, but i have no interest in weights. Just was wondering if this thing is a legit infomerical like p90x is or a fraud.
For people with vaginas, sure.stile wrote:tabata's on an eliptical.

Yes.Am i completely wrong here?
So do tabatas on a bike. Or be a man and do longer HIIT. I know the Tabata study that says you burn 2,000 calories in 4 minutes of 20 second/10 second HIIT, but it's dumb.stile wrote:rofl. tabata's aren't easy. an eliptical would be less stressful on your legs than running.
or sign up at a martial arts gym or something.
Lifting weights exercises your muscle. How you eat is what determines what the result of that exercise is. Lift weights and eat at a caloric surplus = gain muscle. Lift weights and eat at maintenance = maintain muscle. Lift weights and eat at a caloric deficit = lose/maintain muscle (you can minimize the amount you lose drastically, but you will lose some, but you lose significantly less muscle than if you were to NOT lift weights). There are exceptions to these, specifically for beginners in weight training and people who use steroids, but that is the rule for the majority of the population.lolinus wrote:Wait, if you lift weights, that builds up your muscles wich means you eat more right? And if you dosent eat more the body will "take energy" from the muscles? So dosen't lifting weight just adds muscles/weight without burning fat?
Am i completely wrong here?
i'd rather do kung fuhXc wrote:you guys should just take up a manly sport like ceebz.. go huntin' or something. look what that does for his recoil. no dod recoil > a solid 6 pack.
Absolutely this. 100%. Unfortunately the mainstream "science" regarding exercise says the opposite.Reh wrote:Yes.
Lifiting weights is always better for fat loss than cardio. Spending hours in the gym being a cardio queen is a waste of time unless you are fat as hell to begin with so basically anything would be "effective"
What results in weight loss is a caloric deficit. When you lose weight, you lose fat, muscle, and glycogen. In order to maximize FAT loss and minimize MUSCLE loss you need to exercise your muscles. Thus, weight training is a muscle-sparing activity. So when you lose weight via caloric deficit, lifting weights maximizes the fat you lose by minimizing the muscle you lose. Thus, your greatest friend to fat loss = weight training. NOT cardio.stile wrote:I don't know the exact science, but I know lifting increases the amount of fat your muscles burn. The unscientific explanation that was told to me was that even when you aren't lifting, your body will be constantly burning fat. Something like that.
This is kind of a trick question, though I realize it isn't your intention. Unless you are specifically training for some athletic endurance event or doing a deload, everyone should always be lifting heavier weights for lower reps. Your goal is to stress the muscle in the most effective way possible, and you do this lifting at ~80-85% of your 1 rep max, which comes to 6-8 repetitions. For the main lifts (bench press, deadlift, squat, military press, barbell row, etc.) you should aim for this number. For accessory lifts, like dumbbell curls or tricep extensions, you might aim higher.lolinus wrote:Interesting, so what burns more fat, high weights with few reps, or lower weight with more reps?

I don't think it's the fact that Alex has been playing longer or played in a higher tier of CAL. I think it's that Alex can read, interpret, and then post something coherent and useful to the conversation.stile wrote:Just because kirk has played a couple years more than taylor makes his opinion weigh more? Well when the word experience is used, I can only assume one was talking about their experience playing the game. Not their experience in reading, interpretation, and posting coherent replies.stealthlol wrote:I don't think it's the fact that Alex has been playing longer or played in a higher tier of CAL. really? so posting my opinion on how his "no recoil" incident may have happened is posting something that isn't coherent or useful? i tried to point out what may or could have happened in that balcony clip.. is that not what this thread is about? .. alex basically told me i had to pretend i didn't like ceebz while watching the clip and THEN decide if ceebz was cheating or not.. sorry i'm not so quick to call someone out on cheating because i have a personal grudge with them.. then again i don't hold personal grudges over a video game so idkstealthlol wrote: I don't think it's the fact that Alex has been playing longer or played in a higher tier of CAL. Your opinion could matter if you just made a coherent argument for your case. Saying he was sprinting which caused his gun to glitch and happened at the precise moment sounds like you're just pulling at thin air.hXc wrote:really? so posting my opinion on how his "no recoil" incident may have happened is posting something that isn't coherent or useful? i tried to point out what may or could have happened in that balcony clip.. is that not what this thread is about? .. alex basically told me i had to pretend i didn't like ceebz while watching the clip and THEN decide if ceebz was cheating or not.. sorry i'm not so quick to call someone out on cheating because i have a personal grudge with them.. then again i don't hold personal grudges over a video game so idkstealthlol wrote: I don't think it's the fact that Alex has been playing longer or played in a higher tier of CAL. beast just doesnt want to admit he gave ceebz his norecoil configacetamino wrote:Ceebz was neither lagging or did he reload in between shots in question. As seveN and beast have stated there is an abundance of visual evidence to show that he did not have the no recoil glitch.

THAT is why i'm considering sprinting being a cause for the glitch. i can't tell if he does it the second time he crouches.
p.s. crouch running is considered a glitch and was banned from counter-strike play for a bit because of it
non-coherent.. ok
If you would have put this in the first post where you just said he sprinted, it would have been a lot easier. But I have do that crouch thing when leaving spawn and getting across maps. I don't think that would lead to a glitch that would change recoil. Maybe it's different in cs.hXc wrote:okay.. do either of you know what crouch running is? idk if anyone else even names it this, but i call it the tr4gik hop (first player i ever saw do it ), and it's basically crouch running in counter-strike.. you sprint and press crouch twice really quick and then sprint again.. it saves time gaining stamina back and is effective to get places quicker.. although it can be a bit glitchy.. and how are you so sure that crouch running can't cause a glitch? really? if you're doing it right, (i can clearly tell ceebz knows how to from how he goes back into lower apts without jumping) then it could be possible..acetamino wrote:Yes, I have done that before, taylor. The no-recoil glitch includes the sound of the gunfire skipping, and that did not happen in the clip in question as Beast has stated. I'm lost as to what sprint crouching has to do with the clip in questions because spring crouching does not give you a no-recoil glitch.
so you're close minded to the thought that maybe the glitch could happen a different way? it's a glitch. it's random. you don't know why or when it happens..stealthlol wrote:I crouch hop to get over most ledges instead of jumping. It's never once caused a glitch like that. Plus, as everyone keeps saying, the sounds don't skip and that's one of the two key things in this glitch. No recoil, and no gun sounds.
how are these facts? and the term lag is very vague.. do you mean fps lag or internet lag? ..acetamino wrote:the facts we have right now about the no-recoil glitch from my opinion: happens when lagging and right after reloading while lagging.
