The main reason I haven't mentioned anything in this thread because I don't feel the need to let idiots like Kanguh and the other multiple caught cheaters in this thread have there chance to point fingers. I mean the title says it all, I was a cpl champion so I guess what I'm, getting at is yeh I got pissed off one night in a 12 man and decided to give the douche bags a taste of there own medicine. Was it right? No it wasn't because I really do hate cheating and thats why I'm not here to make excuses and pull the old game card. It is true though, I'm not even sure why tpg banned me I played 2 matches in 2 seasons so Its not like its much skin off my back. I've been around a long long time and have no problem going into any 12 man or match recording and doing just fine. There are cheaters like blackhawk who just will never be good at this game and thats why it was so obvious when he cheated. Look at all the "top" level players who have been banned over the years and idiots like Dustin young who is still allowed to come into 12 mans and blatently cheat. This was part of the reason that brought me to do what I did. I never cheated in any match of any sort and I've always recorded my demos taken ss and sent demos in when requested. I guess you can put me in the same category as Ryan. We all know hes a good players and he proven it on lan as have I but it was wrong and for that I apologize to the community. If you guys really think Im some big bad cheater who has been just cheating for years then your sadly mistaken but then again I don't really care what most of you think. I can admit when I'm wrong and I'm not going to hide from it. Like I said I'm not around playing that much anyways but if I do play in a random 12 man I have no problems recording and sending to whoever after. and I've known jb since 3.1b yet still have never held him in high regard. The DoD in 2013 argument doesn't hold much water since there has been a mini resurgence. You can sit there and complain all you want about other cheaters playing but when you go out of your way to flame then and then get caught doing the same thing. This, and then some. You all suck at life, i only still play dod because i secretly hate myself and feel i need to be punished for it. That and make everyone cry about sandbagging. I had a few people i would get into it with over and over again ie: josh/cope over everything and dan regarding darkhorse, but i never actually disliked them. Sorry that I thought you started playing later, I have no idea what name you played under back before 2005, but I didn't recognize the alias. I mean, josh "getting caught" was a fluke (ie no one accused him of cheating) and he was so bad at it that there's a less than like 5% chance he's ever done it before. He's not the type of habitual cheater that has plagued this community and deserves to be banned. I mean, TPG can do whatever they like, but to me this is like the NBA suspending someone from their league for talking shit to a ref at a pickup or rec league game in a park. It's one thing where a damning HLTV demo is the proof TPG needs to ban a habitual cheater who they're like 90% sure has been cheating in matches. It's something else when a clean player cheats in a 12-man during the league off-season.

Everything he said a couple weeks ago about the people who habitually cheat at this game was 100% spot on. The fact that he then cheated doesn't change it. It's your prerogative to let someone cheating in a pickup game and doing terribly change your opinion of them, but you're kind of an idiot if you do that.

Two things Dan: 1) TPG didn't banned him out of the blue, sadly he was cheating. Props to him manning up and admitting. 2) I haven't lost respect from the person Josh is, I talked with him many times ever since I re-joined this community and the fact that he cheated don't take away his merits/accomplishments in any way. But thing is that he cheated nonetheless and this impacts on how people will see him from now on.

That's incorrect, because the HLTV demo was sent to catch someone that was blatantly cheating. We initially thought that it was someone else, but when we cross-referenced the guy's STEAMID it turned to be jb_. As far as I'm concerned there weren't a witch hunt for him, but basically people sending us 12man HLTV demos to prove that a given player was chitting his b4lz off.

It happens all the time, why do you think people like pat jaggon and ryan emo (up until he got caught for the 5th time?) are still allowed to play? One good thing defiance did was get rid of those idiots from tpg-ac because who can stop you from cheating when your the one with the power to ban people? a stupid guy with broken english doing something stupid. color me surprised. bravo at always taking stabs at others who've cheated or you think cheat, and then you go and use cheats yourself.

can we all see the hltv? it'd probably be hilarious to watch him playing with cheats and attempting to hide them, if he actually played worse like some have claimed.

It basically looked exactly what it likely was: someone very drunk (his movements and quickswitching seemed like there was some serious inebriated fat fingers going on) cheating for the first time ever. Although I don't really agree that any cheating is "justified," there is a point to be made here with the community just accepting and allowing certain people to repeatedly hack. Ryanemo and Jaggon were both banned for life for repeatedly hacking. Seriously, it was so many times that they were banned for life. Then there was that season I played about a year ago where there was some guy named Dustin Young who was hacking in every scrim he played in, yet people just allowed him to play. I feel like when I used to play games more actively, if someone like that tried to roll into a pug they'd just get instantly banned and not allowed to play.
