i have played countless matches and scrims with ben, as well as played a lan match with him. i haven't read the thread or watched the demo, but i would definitely go to bat for ben and say there is no way he could have been cheating.

i have no doubts in my mind that this will get overturned.

So what you'e saying is that, the first time aimtek was banned, you would have stood up for him. But now that he's been banned, what, 2 or 3 times? Now you wouldn't. All im saying is that no body care when someone get banned for cheating if hes one of the cool guys in this community.

Look at aimtek,ceebz,stamp and Voldemort, yea they are annoying, but their ban didn't and won't get overturned, what makes hidlebrand's ban so different? Oh yeah, hes respected and not annoying like the others, so he must be unban right?

I also never suspected hidle to cheat but i only played against him twice or so.

...and about that aimtek post i was trying to show how you could put any other name and it still wouldn't make sense

Except very few people actually think that aimtek, ceebz, stamp, or Voldemort didn't cheat. In fact, I don't think there's a single person who believes stamp hasn't cheated. So those comparisons are pretty much void.

At first, all the AC admin thought it was blatant enough to ban him, and now it won't?

Unless tpg sit in vent with hidle and talk about the weird shot he made and try to explain himself, just like we all do when we get ban from a pub.

Just part of the problem when you don't have an anti-cheat client and you have to rely solely on an admin team on whether to ban players or not.

If it was a close decision that came down to just a few funky shots that just couldn't seem to be explained, I'm guessing that there would be more room for doubt if he had been playing on a client in which everything checked out clean.

Having a client doesn't totally eliminate the possibility of people getting wrongfully banned, or that people won't find a way around the system and cheat anyway, it just drastically reduces the incidences of both.

anyways... sure you can put anyones name in my comment. but that doesnt make what you are saying true. i actually have played countless matches and played with and against ben on lan. have you played countless matches with aimtek? have you played with and against him on lan? no you havent... so just cuz you put aimtek's name into my comment, and it coming from someone like you, it gives it absolutely no credibility. at least i can actually say those things about ben, i have been an invite player since touching this dead game, invite player in cs for years, i have been a cal-ac admin for cs and dod, i have been to multiple lans and have released a lan video, i have never been accused of cheating in a serious manner, and i never get disputed.

im not trying to make this a cool kid thing or an invite player thing or whatever.. i am just stating facts.

that is either extremely over simplified or we need to get a fresh team of AC admins to re-watch this asap

between the predictability and randomness of this game, you have to have more than "just a few funky shots that couldnt be explained" to get a ban. i have a few of those every single game i play even if i am getting trashed. the game is just random as hell, everyone and everything makes noise, and it is very easy to predict something or know there is a high probability that a player will do a certain thing or be in a certain place. and we play the SAME 3-4 MAPS OUR ENTIRE LIVES. there are only so many moves we can make against each other.

actually... I did. I live in Montreal and hes from Quebec city(not the whole province, just letting american knows) 2hours drive, we probably played more lan matches/scrim together than you with hidlebrand. (Hint: im not saying aimtek never cheated here)

You're right though, I may not be one of the 14 people in this community who takes this game seriously enough as you do. I don't ever 12 man or scrim and I barely play this game an hour a week during the season. But, I sure as hell know you haven't seen the evidence and therefore you should have no opinion on the matter, just as I don't.

Ok guys its time for the truth, as they say it will set you free!

So this is what happened, hilde msg me on steam saying he needed someone to ring for him in this particular 12 man. Well the nerds who owned the vent didn't like me so I snuck in under hildes account on both vent and steam. While playing in the dod scrim i decided to cheat so people would think im the real hilde (bc im turrible old scrub). So there you guys have it, This is all my fault and I want to come clean and take the blame for doing it yet again. I guess you could say I have the stamp disease....lol but that's the truth and id like to apologize to the "why so serious?" nerds out there that still play this game as if cpl was around the corner...so sad.
