No offense to current AC, but in terms of recoil and understanding the mechanics of heavying, I would take Joey's opinion over probably anyone left playing. Yes ceebz has been cleared. The does not mean he was not using a no recoil script. I think sears cleared that up for everyone, it is hard to ban someone for that with 100% confidence. I do like to be 100% before someone gets banned. I do think for the most part people understand that. TPG ac does good job at what they do and I honestly feel most of the community feels the same. TPG will continue to work hard at running a fun , fair , and clean league. On a personal note as a player and a heavy my entire career, I can honestly say I have never had a norecoil glitch happen to me ever. The only one I ever get is the reload glitch when It only fires one bullet and has to reload again. I still dont know exatly why it does that I think its because I fire before its fully reloaded, I dunno. Its a pain though. K now back to being an admin, I will not sit here and say TPG will NEVER ban someone for no-recoil, because if we feel someone is 100% it will happen. On a different note, If someone with experience that is willing to become an ac and has the time to review demos, send me a messege. I would rather have more ac watching demos then less.

I'm pretty sure this is the norecoil glitch, isn't it? It fires the first bullet and then doesn't show the model firing any more. You have zero recoil, there is no gun sounds or flashes, but the bullets are still firing.

Well this might very well be it, but I have never seen it in action because I have auto reload on, so it just wants to reload right away. If that is the case maybe we should have autoreload be a rule?? LOL

Back in 2007 or so, me and some old teammates and friends tried out mouse polling, which is like a program that patches your mouse to a certain dpi, or something, and also using cpl mousefix with it too, don't quite remember. All I remember is that it makes your mouse much less sensitive, but recoil is like completely gone, so you'd turn up your sensitivity again so that it's normal, but your recoil is 2 or 3x better than it was before, and your mouse control in general is better too, it's not illegal, but it should be, I think that's what baloo and people used, pantera too, and maybe in this clip he just got a second of really really good control, anyways that's my theory. If you used mouse polling in combination with launch options and mousefix, your recoil is essentially gone, pretty cheap, that's why I didn't use it for toooo long

Changing the mouse poll isn't a "hack" or "cheat" at all. It's commonly done among CS and Quake players. It basically is the amount of times your mouse sends info to the computer per second(most likely). If I remember correctly, you want your mouse poll, cmd, monitor hz, and fps to be the same. Which is easy for CS but difficult to achieve without a lot of tinkering in DoD(stupid bar).

If you look at the distance from the tip of his gun to the spray paint over the duration of the clip, it doesn't move. So you didn't do that. Plus, you're not that talented. Lets be real, if it's not a built-in effect in Sony Vegas or Adobe AE, you've got no idea how to do it. And if you photoshopped 60-90 frames to do that, you're a tool. I guess thumbs up on the troll attempt.

Watching 2:29, is a little fishy, but I think he just had the recoil glitch. I've had the recoil glitch as well, but usually when I get it, I drag the mouse down and shoot the floor or kneecaps and die. I think that clip was possible because whoever he was shooting sucks, and because he realized the glitch was occurring. Also, his last bullet causes normal recoil movement.

Are you going to explain that by saying he switched from norecoiling to not-norecoiling(lol) after he got the kill. ...? If you agree with that, I think you should consider how ridiculous that would be. He'd spend more time trying to make sure he disables his norecoil after getting a kill. He'd play like garbage if that was the case. He would never get a multifrag, and he would have definitely slipped up and been caught no recoiling by now.

I'm not familiar with the mouse polling garbage, but with recoiling being client side, and possibly based on your system mouse sensitivity rather than DOD, it sounds like it'd be pretty effective. If your mouse could send more movement information to the game between shots, you'd be able to move the mouse further in the small window of time. It should definitely be illegal if that's the case, but there is no client, so it's probably better to just never bring up polling and hope everyone doesn't do it.

To many players in this community believe their seniority entitles them to being better than anyone else. Turns them all into corrupt admins.

To whoever the self entitled guys are... I think Ceebz is better than you currently are at video games. I'm not saying he's better than you in your prime so calm down. But lets be real, you're not in your prime anymore.

So what you're saying is he got a glitch mid clip? He doesn't reload or respawn (the two ways people have said they get the glitch). He just has recoil in the windows, and then doesn't on the balcony. Also, His last bullet has normal recoil? From what I can tell, there is no recoil at all until he overcompensates for his lack and swings his mouse upwards.

You were right, there was no recoil movement. I think he knew the glitch was happening. My guess is that he may have right clicked near the window and the game thought he had his bipod deployed. If I get time/care enough, I might mess around with that and see if it causes the bug.

Also, I don't think the glitch is only possible after spawning or reloading. I don't think anyone has done anything to try and identify the glitch.

I played around with a norecoil script in a pub* the other day. It's unbelievably easy to switch between the script being on or off. Wouldn't surprise me if he activated the script, whether on purpose or on accident, and then turned it off when he realized what happened.

ACTUALLY....

as alex would attest, this is my very area of expertise. it is possible to have a second, even split-second seizure. This can often happen as well during someone's sleep, and therefore the person never knows they have epilepsy, even though it might do damage to the brain. Eventually they may become more prolonged and could be potentially life threatening.

although banning ceebz may be something everyone is really wanting, the possibility that he has this brand of epilepsy (characerized by micro-seizures) may be more appealing.

ceebz could have a high probability of dying in his sleep (if he doesnt already know about his epileptic condition).
