Those TV shows and movies are better than like 99% of the things kids watch today.

I'm a believer that half the reason kids are so fucked up these days is because of the stupid shit that's driven into their brains at a young age, through these shows =[
I miss Bill Nye

Well, kids these days don't have access to the following television shows:
Salute Your Shorts
Hey, Dude!
Flash Forward
Saved by the Bell (maybe there are re-runs still in syndication??)
Full House (that show was dumb)
Family Matters
Conan the Barbarian
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
So it's hard to hold them responsible for their actions.
But then I remember they got Blue's Clues in exchange and I don't feel sorry for them anymore.

Family Matters is still on Nickelodeon in the morning prior to my son leaving for school. He gets all pissed of and says "Dad, can we change the show, I don't want to watch this brown kid."

Still have mine somewhere. It is probably a pile of sugary mold in some corner of my parents' home. And the X-Men cartoon was the tits.

i have to say that i agree with most of the shows in this thread being amazing but i think that some of the old classic cartoons, bugs and crew, were highly entertaining. i would also like to mention the cartoon olympics that used to be on the air mid to late 80's. captain caveman, M.A.S.K, dangermouse, thundercats, he-man, etc.

Dude. Animalympics was the greatest piece of cinema I'd ever seen. Until you've watched a goat and a lion falling in love while running a marathon, your life is not complete. ALSO ROFL This is BABWA WAWA WEPOWTING WIVE

Was talking about them the other day. Saw a ring with a skull on it for Halloween costume and reminded me of the girl that wanted to love them and hold them and squeeze them forever and ever and ever.

She was from Tiny Toons. It was Elmira. Or Elvira. I watched the Tiny Toons movie a ton when I was a kid (no cable).
