Markos rejected Kirk's request to spoon in pregame, but came around on the idea, thankfully, so we could finally play. Downside is the spooning messed up the brothers' internet connection.

I don't care as much about you, but you making comments in-game regarding how serious we treat it (WSVG comment) just to see Corey prone rifling below ladder is too much hypocrisy for my brain to handle. Don't think me pointing out your immaturity = me taking it too seriously. I think I was the most apathetic regarding our loss last night; that was a great match, and it was within ~20 points. I'm cool with it.

Corey just has the rationality of a 12 year old girl. When things don't go his way (due to zero fault of my own), he just throws a temper tantrum. Sorry toxinator, your team leader, told us tonight would work, but you don't have to act like a baby towards me and give me shit for it because our team planned their schedule around tonight.

Dont feel to bad, mindflow lost to us tonight, but are disputing because traize our backup shitty ringer had a rate of 7500. Hey its cpl championships, you gotta do what you gotta do, just ask mindflow.

You should know know what to expect from Corey and Ryan by now, Alex..

It seems to be mostly on Harrington that people complain how Corey plays gay. Some teams flood mid when they're about to lose it; our team has one person play hide-n-seek in mid and let the guys on the side still do their thing. Corey had high ping and no working mic.. which sucked for me. Couple the inability for him to communicate with me with my 100+ ping attempting to quickscope, and that's simply how things had to be played in mid. Great match, however.

I'm not complaining about Corey's play, though. Him preventing that mid cap arguably won you guys the match. It was smart by such standards. What I'm saying is Ryan's comment about us taking the match seriously (comparing it to WSVG) is extremely hypocritical considering the lengths Corey went to in order to win.

As far as Corey's attitude towards me, I honestly didn't see it coming. I can understand him being pissed at Tox, but why he's pissed at me is just him allowing his emotions to get the best of him. Tox (THUNDER leader) and I agreed on a match time. We were there, ready to play, and 10 minutes before that scheduled time Corey messages me saying they can't play because him and Ryan had 180 ping (they actually had more like ~120 ping). Which is just beyond ridiculous to me. And so when our team says, "Sorry, we planned on tonight, so we want to play tonight" it's apparently my fault.

Just can't wrap my mind around that kind of "logic" is all!

The rules regarding rating ought to be changed. I can understand if someone is rating and that team wins by say 50-100 points overturning it. But an automatic overturn is excessive.

Saying that rating will result in a 100 point deduction from the score should be enough incentive to not do it. An automatic overturn is just too much in some cases, where the team with the rater won by enough to say the rating had nothing to do with it.

Again, it should be expected at this point for Ryan to make such a comment. More often than not, I cringe at the way Ryan will play by running & gunning when we need him to slow things down and be a little more cautious. If this is how he was playing last night (I didn't spec him much at all, with having a focus on those in mid), and you guys were hiding a lot (I heard a lot of chatter about jules consistently lurking), then I can see where he's coming from. But, again, it's a common occurrence of him saying something negative about his opponent's, no matter how well or poor he's doing against them.

Its not a automatic reversion. Every round that people are caught rating it turns the half that he rated to 0. If he rated in the halves they have 0 points on that rounds. That's how to rules are written. And tbh (at least for me) there is a huge gap of someone having a unfair advantage and warp through the map with low rates and someone dumb who just installed DoD and accidentally forgot to change his default rates (7500/30/30). 90% of people caught rating are the ones who uses different rates than default and by all means lower than approved values (20000/60/60). Admins have been struggling to judge each case separately over the years in that matter and tbh if the player in subject didn't had this unfair advantage he should be let it go... That's my my opinion. It's playoffs bro, winning in the red carpet simply doesn't suit me.

I'd further amend the rule as well in order to suspend the bad rater for at least a season as well! (yeah I hate the majority of the argentineans).

I highly doubt anyone rates for a half, most times it occurs because people don't check so if someone doesn't check before the match starts it seems unlikely they would check before the second half begins.

Traize is a backup, it was the first match he played all season. He more then likely went into a pub/hltv before hand and the server changed his rates. His update and cl rate were both 90 so i dunno wtf happend. He went negative both halves using a tommy/unterr going long . I dont think he had an unfair advantage, but as far as rules go its def one that needs to be changed. To me the player rating should be suspended for the next match and so on depending on what all he did. Each case is diffrent and in ours its just a sad way to get the W. I do know if it were my team in the position we wouldnt go about it like this esp in the semi finals.

It's my fault we lost, I stopped before capping the allies 2nd in an attempt to shoot Corey, I didn't know it was the last flag we needed. I wasn't aware their 1st flag was being capped... I could have just ran for it, I was literally an inch away from it.

Corey told me his ping was like 180 an hour before the match... I figured since we were initially going to play wed/thurs you'd be able to reschedule it was no big deal tho.. We had 3 players with over 100 ping and our rifle going mid had no mic lol.. So the variables were def on your side.. We were joking and pretty relaxed in vent.. There was one point in mid where ryan went to nade and blew himself up.. And I chuckled and said god we suck.. And he chuckled back.. Yeah were all competitive if were gonna play we want to win.. Corey and ryan are going to mm1 and say god knows what during a match.. Its nothing new.. I literally pay it no mind as should you lol.. It was a very gg.. I always enjoy playing against and with you guys.. Except for when jules goes into lurk mode.. Mac n cheese eating dork.. When we gonna lan party?

Lol , it was a really fun and intense match even though we lost which I was pretty upset about. I only "lurked" because you were crouching everywhere and ryanemo was hiding "l"! No complaints here though, I expected the match to be played that way and it was still a lot of fun. And to jrod saying it was his fault... it wasn't dude. I know I made like 2-3 mistakes which resulted in momentum shifts/capouts so we're all responsible. Also, pick me for the draft and we can LAN at my house. I just need to ask my mom if I can have a play date.

In respect to the rating thing, I don't really care about regular season, but playoffs I think should be judged on an individual basis. I know Traize from a couple past teams, and I can tell you the reason he had bad rates was because he never plays. He probably just reinstalled, and he probably feels really bad for screwing over his team for this. And if I know Traize, he probably just came back to DoD to do really, really bad. I actually know a few cool people from both teams involved here, but personally I'd hate to see a dispute over rates determine who plays finals.

A few years back in CAL, Nihilism disputed SoXX for rating (rate 13000) and we won by under 40 points so he was suspended and the match had to be replayed. If it wasnt so close (within 40 points) we would have been awarded the win and SoXX would have been suspended nothing more. Of course I wasn't there to carry them again, so when the match was replayed we lost. Lame =/

IMO this should be the rule in TPG. If 2 or more players are rating in the same match, perhaps the match should be overturned.

We weren't initially going to play Wed/Thurs since you never fucking answered me, you whore :| we scheduled our match on 1911 the night of, and we all heard you say Wednesday was a big "maybe" because you might have a baseball game! No hate to you, since the match got scheduled and worked for us, but there's no way in fuck I'm taking an ounce of blame for this being inconvenient to Corey. He should have been bitching at you, not me.

Realize it wasn't Corey's in-game demeanor so much as a Steam conversation between him and I. He was just acting grossly irrational, and he is unable to take a step back and look at things logically since his mind is dictated solely by emotion. Of course I imagine the second you guys won, he didn't give a shit, which makes him a hypocrite on top of everything else.

But again, gg. I'm upset with Corey because I've always been cool to him and stood up for him when people were complete assholes for no reason, but that shouldn't get in the way of how I feel about the match. A 20 point match on harrington is pretty rare these days, and it was fun to play.

I know traize did not do it on purpose, I was upset yes, but Im over it, it was an honest mistake. There have been times when I didnt overturn a match its is a hard call to make. i also I never "overturned a match" it was more of giving 0 points per rating half which ended up changing the outcome of the match. It is a tough call to make sometimes. As for this match, I am not going to be involved with this dispute, it is against my team and I dont want to be involved with the decision. As a player i feel its a shitty way to lose and a lowball way of winning. I personally would not dispute any team for a rate of 7500. I did lose respect for mindflow for going this route. As an admin I want no parts in the final say. I would just ask that mindflow man up and dissmiss this dispute. Just my 2 cents.

Strong agree.

I could understand disputing if you lost by a rather narrow margin. But from what I heard, MVPz won by a good amount.

lol yeah i was being totally irrational. it's the playoffs. PLAYOFFS? PLAYOFFS?! WE CANT EVEN WIN A GAME AND YOURE TALKIN ABOUT PLAYOFFS?! but yeah, it's playoffs so your immense urgency to play the match on a night where we had two players with 150 ping, i had no mic, and we had a backup, was pretty dumbfounding to me. but definitely not going to say it was irrationaly. doesnt matter, we played, it was a good game, its over with, i really dont care about playing dod but it's when it becomes an inconvenience like it was on sunday that i feel the need to get angry about it. it's 100% the bottom of my list of priorities and the fact i had to sit there and play with 150 ping and no microphone going the most important route in a match that didn't even necessarily need to be played for like, 5 days...yeah, that pissed me off.

NONE THE LESS, a very good game. seems like whenever we play u guys or drugs anymore it's a close match (we would've beat drugs if i had been there but either way it was a ridiculously close match, yeah i threw that in there. suck it taylor) and i honestly thought we had no chance/i had no chance to kill anyone since i don't play anymore outside of matches lol which we haven't had to play in like 3 weeks i think now? but you just angered me, sorry broseph stalin. won't happen again. either way, i don't think ill be playing dod anymore next season so that was probably the last fun match ill ever get to play! after this im just gonna stick to ESEA cs matches, school and work so, that was our last battle alex, joseph, rymoz, millerman, jarrod, annnnd who's the other guy? ben? i don't remember. but GOOD GAME. LET'S KEEP THE HARD FEELINGS TO A MIN since if anyone had the right to be angry for once it was actually me and i have no hard feelings about it at all right now, i just did at the time because YOU were being irrational by saying we NEEDED to play that night and there was no other choice! DON'T EVEN TRY TO DISPUTE THAT ALEX. DON'T EVEN. DON'T MAKE ME CHECK THIS THREAD AGAIN AND ACTUALLY HAVE TO GET WORKED UP!

and where is this shit coming from about me being a poor sport? i wasn't a poor sport at all. i said gg, i talked to half of your team after about how good of a match it was, the only thing i said during the match was to jules and i was fuckin around with him. i can understand you calling me out for our private chat but to say i was being a poor sport is just ludicrous.

AND ERIC G EVEN KNOWS WHAT I DO ON HARRINGTON. THE MAN HAS PLAYED THE GAME LIKE 5 TIMES IN 4 YEARS AND THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN PLAYING EVERY DAY SINCE THEN STILL ACT SURPRISED BY IT. at least alex just gives me the credit i deserve for occasionally making it useful in big situations, the rest of the time im just bored by sean standing on top of mid stairs spinning around in circle giving me nothing to do LOL

That's a cool story, but no.

Tox and I scheduled a time to play. That time was 10:30 pm est. You PM me at fucking 10:25 pm telling me Sunday won't work. Sorry - some of our guys have families, jobs that don't have them home until 10 pm est., etc. They planned their life around Sunday at that time, and that was the time to play.

Sorry YOUR TEAM LEADER fucked up. Don't blame me for choosing to NOT inconvenience MY team for doing nothing wrong all so I could cater to your team for doing a shit job of scheduling.

You have zero, and I mean zero, right to be upset at me or call me irrational. I busted my ass trying to schedule with Tox, and he was a pain in the ass because he never got back to me despite constant efforts (truth). We finally had a day, it ended up not working for you, so who do you blame? Me? Why the hell don't you blame your team leader for not checking with you first?

Sorry. You're being disgustingly irrational because you won't stop for a second, detach yourself from your emotions, and put yourself in my shoes.
