having someone accsidently rate in a playoff match is unfortunate, it would be a shitty way to call our seleves winners and me as a captain i would have had the scarlet letter D for 'douchebag' robbing mvp's win, before i agreed to dismiss the dispute even though it was going to upset a few players that wanted to go forth with it and just say rules are rules.Im realy glad i whent ahead and looked at the support ticket saying we can replay the match.

sorry for the headache please see it from my point of view it was team disicion to go forward with it because we were all pissed off and caught up in the moment when someone checked demo freak. hit me up on steam so we can rescheduel.

I personally think you should just take your loss. If he was doing it on purpose and he was a real game changer then I could maybe understand.. but it sounds to me like he had hardly any impact on the match at all. Also, maybe it's just me, but whenever I forget to change my rates from 7500, which happens a lot, I play a lot worse because I can't hit anybody. So there's a good chance you all will just end up losing by even more points.

I would agree. Last night I was all for stomping on some toes and fingers so I could rub it in the face all the ex-squares turned 3h when we beat them in finals. But this game isn't big/important enough anymore to fuck over some good cats. They beat us fair and square. We played retarded and they capitalized on that. My vote would be to just take the loss. There is always next season or the one after that, because you nerds will never let this game die. But I guess it's already decided to expand the playoffs (god forbid we follow the set out rules. Always improvising, that's why we love our admins!) I guess this will be fun...again.

please don't move us up.

I don't agree with this reasoning at all for wanting a second chance. Sorry, Austin, but that makes no sense to me.

It does not matter to me how the dispute resolves itself, but I don't want to play again.

edit- The reason I don't agree, Austin, is because that sentence reads as you saying you and your team played dumb so you want a chance to play smart. An example can be a baseball player who drops a fly ball... he didn't use two hands so he wants a redo because he was lazy the first time and won't be the next.

Yeah you're right, and I'm kinda out of it right now, but I think I just meant that it's better than taking an ff win, hopefully will be fun, win or lose

good joke, narc be consistent. it's his team so this will be treated differently. instead of overturning the match and suspending the said player that was rating, narc will just cover it up and do a replay match.

My 2¢:

Breaking a rule is breaking a rule regardless of whether it had an impact on the outcome of the match. If people aren't going to follow the rules, what is the point of the rules? If you say oh it was just a minor violation or it had no impact than people lose respect for the rules and they lose legitimacy.

narc isnt even the one doing this, the other guys are doing it themselves because of community response the the dispute.

and traize is known enough that people know hes not a rating idiot he just fucked up because he never plays.

LoL... it's playoffs for Christ's sake. I said it before and I will say it again. 90% of people caught rating in TPG have rates different than default (which means that they were deliberately changed). Defaults are 7500/30/30. Everybody is saying that the guy in question doesn't have any history of doing that shaddy shit and moreover the result/score have said for itself.

This reminds me season 20 or 21 where deagan made dgf win TPG Upper with a forfeit win. Though he did what rules said him to do, is it was the best call to do? In a finals match? I guess not. Moreover we are playing a game that is as old as Black Hawk and at least for me what mean is playing and having fun whether losing or not.

I'm not sure if a replay is the best call but at least it wasn't the worst - which would be making Schmiggs lose his glory of playing his best match of all his career of DoD so Josh said me.

This is a joke, we won fair and square. I dont care about your team issues nomie. Obviously we have our own issues since our ringer/7th man is the one who got us in this situation. We get it, you guys didnt expect to lose but it happens. Just take your loss and move on to next season.

It doesn’t seem that your team won fair and square when you are in this type of situation...no one knows for a fact that the guy was truthfully rating for an advantage or if it was just a mistake. Either way he was caught breaking the rules.

I was disputed for cheating against 3H near the end of the season. I had enough evidence to prove that I was in fact not cheating yet I was still suspended for 2 weeks for missing my two end game screen shots. I missed the last regular season match and our first playoff match. In my opinion that was a pretty gay suspension especially the state that DoD is in. But rules are rules…I guess.

I think a rematch is the best thing. No one gets a FF win or loss and it adds more competition…everyone loves competition. Isn’t that why the admins let Taylor rejoin his team during locked rosters? They were supposed to be good competition for Thunder. You guys beat them once, you can do it again.

Hi, I am char from Mindflow. I would just like to say a few things -- I've been playing this game since 2006 competitively and I have never had to play a rematch once, even in playoffs. I recently heard that a TPG open team received 0 points in a playoffs match due to rating, however, in our case we were forced to play a rematch. From what Taylor told me, the entire argument from the TPG admin for our rematch was "It's a playoffs match, and I'd like to see it replayed". Then where is the rematch for that TPG lower team? We were not offered the FF win. I'd like to make that clear. Also, we played with three people on the wrong guns, so I don't understand why you want a rematch when we are just going to clean up our stupid mistakes and do better on Sunday... We did nothing wrong, and yet we are made out to look like the bad guys. We aren't the ones who broke the rules. We also aren't trying to bend them. You keep saying we are the better team? Then stop dragging out this nonsense and let us go to finals. We are going to beat you on Sunday anyway. Thanks, -Char.
Edit : Also, I've never heard someone say "We won fair and square" with someone rating on their team. lol.

Half you fucking idiots dont even know what rating is or what it even does. People in this community who knows traize will tell you he isnt the kind of guy to pull something like this to win a match. Hell he hasnt played with us once all season, he just showed up to do us a favor. He went negative both halves using a untter/tommy. Im the one who SHIT on your long team and I will do it again because im better then anyone on your fucking roster (minus austin who shouldnt be on your team in the first place). Youve been playing competivlely since 2006? WOW BUDDY GUESS WHAT I WAS WINNING CPLS BEFORE YOU EVEN STARTED PLAYING. Your a sad group of kids and ive lost all respect I had for you. "we were on the wrong guns" Yeh guess what so were we, but you have to do what u can when people dont show up for matches. OH and before you wanna get all high and mighty about the rules, We all know defiance and hd caught apple rating against them in which you guys won. Defiance being an old school player who is cool and respectful didnt force yall to overturn your win. Instead he took his loss like a man and gave yall the win because you deserved it. This is the same situation except the semis instead of a regular season match. Its all good though, you cry baby fucks are gonna get what you want and thats another rematch. Yeh you will probably win bc our roster consist of alot of older guys who get on here and play for FUN. Key word here is fun, which goes right out the window when you play a bunch of cock suckers such as yourselves. Lets have hltv this time so everyone can watch me shit on and embarass whoever is going long because its gonna happen, im just better.

p.s Traize should be suspended. I believe the player should be punished, not the whole team. Each case is diffrent and this one is pretty obvious there was no intent to rate and get an advantage. Had that been the case, then maybe your arguements may have a leg to stand on.

And actually taylor, panda and slaya are all still cool dudes, its the other 3 or 4 of you crybabies that can get a dick.

this is where you are wrong, "the player should be punished, not the whole team" you've been punishing whole teams all season long when someone rated in a match, you give them 0 points for the half they rated in + suspend the player. now that it's your team it's a whole different story. there should be no rematch at all. look at KS, they rated, you gave them 0 points, gave them no option to replay the match and called it a day.

jb, We should have won. You guys rated, and should take your loss. Instead, you call us "faggots" and "cocksuckers" like a twelve year old and come into vent and say we are gay for making this decision. Then you bend the rules and force us to rematch. Yet you "lose all respect for us". Sounds legit. We haven't been confrontational toward you guys in the slightest, and we sure as hell didn't do anything wrong. Stop turning this back on us and making us look like the bad guys.

jblogic->>> Break a rule >>> it's playoffs, so obviously it matters >>> call the other team faggots because they point out rule breaking >>> bend rules, be corrupt, force rematch >>> JUST LET THE WORSE TEAM WIN GUYS. C'MON. NO RESPECT.

From what I've read, only one guy on their team "rated." He is usually a backup and it was his first (second?) match of the season. He was going long with a fucking light and went negative, pretty much assuring the fact that he had little if no impact on the outcome of the match. I know most of the Mindflow dudes to be chill, but if you guys went into coL demo player to check if you could dispute a player who happened to be rating, then I find it to be a pretty sad and disappointing ff win/rematch. To say that he is the sole reason you guys lost by 100~ points is absurd. Sorry if you feel that some people are attacking you or if you feel you are being labeled as "douchebags", but it can't be that difficult to grasp why people are upset. If someone was rating and dropped bombs, then it would be a different case.

Tze was at the top of the scoreboard for the half that he rated. Just FYI, the argument that he was useless makes no sense. He was not getting hit at all first half. Capping flags and never dying. Sounds like it was a "fair" game. Yet again, MVPz making us look like D-bags, lying up a storm.

Since people threw KS match being reversed, let me share some pearls of wisdom:

1) 90% of people being caught rating used values different than default (7500/30/30) yet lower than approved values (20000/60/60);
2) KS_Gohan was caught using cl_updaterate 20 (default is 30);
3) MVPz_Traize was caught using rate 7500 (default is 7500).

How come you want the same treatment if they're clearly different cases?

§7.4 Match Infractions

Listed below are common match violations and typical league remedies. These are guidelines only and the league may require more or less stringent remedies on a case by case basis. The league reserves the right to review rules violations whether or not a team files a formal dispute.

Illegal rates:

Players may not go below the minimum approved values. Failure to do so will result in that player's team will be awarded 0 points per half;one player rating, first half 0 points, two players rating, first and second half 0 points and a minimum one game suspension.

===Just curious... if this person was rating, why wasn't any action taken? If I recall someone on Mindflow was rating in an earlier match this season, and they got a loss. No rematch no nothing... but Narc said himself.."Rules are rules.. blah blah blah". Also TA and KS, didn't someone have illegal rates in the quarter finals? Nobody got a rematch then so why the rematch now if rules are rules? Someone was rating on the opposing team therefore that team should have 0 points.===

Corrupted. End of story.

Just for my two cents of this faggotry
I accidentally rated in a match this season and we got an ff loss with no chance for a rematch.
I dropped under 20 and was useless the entire match. SO, Traize wasn't useless because he was unhittable and capping AND he was rating with a default rate of 7500 just like mine in our ff loss. The default is 7500 for you nerds.
I would like to say fuck you tpg admins. Take the ff loss just like our team had to week 4. We didn't get a chance at a rematch, so I say no to a rematch and you can stick it up your ass.

This is the ss, you can see traize score. He did ok, but he surely wasnt a game changer. I realize you guys have lost a match due to rating, but youve also been given a free pass by hd when you were rating another time. In the end its up to yall, and we all know which way you gonna lean. Its kinda like when ncaa will strip a team of its wins for violations, we all know who won its just not on the books. Nobody is gonna remember this season, I think the reason (we) mvpz are so angry about all this is because we never expected to make it this far and for something like this to happen with our backup (who already has a shitty record of pissing narc off/ letting him down) it blows.

Oh yeh and nugz why do you keep refering to me as an admin. I have nothing to do with any of that stuff. You really need to get your drugs and just relax yourself bro.
