1911 Beta

I am not sure if this has been posted yet, I'm very late on receiving this information - almost 2 years late to be exact. This unfortunate story was given to me by a good friend, and ex-teammate, sh|ftynou.

Jason "spG" Bednarz passed unexpectedly in his sleep on Feb. 28th 2010. Jason was part of the RBC team family back in the early 2000's. I knew him just briefly compared to the rest of the RBC guys like shifty, bewton, rogueverve, eckman, dante, etc. For the brief time I had got to know him, he was always very welcoming, and fun to be around. I am just happy to have had the privilege of knowing Jason, albeit short, and I'm sure anyone that has encountered him in DoD or real life never had anything bad to say about the guy. He will be missed.

I had no idea of this either, I remember him well.

I wonder if there are other notable beta players that have passed away.

Wow this is really sad. Spag was a great teammate who always made playing a lot of fun. You'll be missed bro.

Wow.... This is really sad news. Jason was a really good friend and teammate... My heart goes out to his family, Jason was a wonderful guy.

Terrible news Jason was an awesome guy, got the chance to hang out with him a few times at the w2z lans. The one where BRONX was asking if he was 18 cause he wanted to fight him was the most hilarious thing I remember about

Spag was very cool at ATLan2. I was actually asking about him a few weeks ago when I saw the pics go up.

i am so saddened to hear this. spag was a great teammate and such a fun person to play alongside and hang out with. some of my best dod times were in rbc with him and several of you guys in this thread. thanks to shifty and ryan for letting us know and everyone here for helping us to remember him. rest in peace jason

This is the saddest news I have heard in awhile. I spent a lot of time with Jason in RBC and he was a great guy. My condolences go out to his family.
