Yeah if I did it I would start as LTJG, also considering a deal with the Army that would start me at O2. Probably won't do it though, but I always end up considering my options when I'm in between jobs.

I turned down a shot at West Point coming out of high school, and it's just always been something I thought I would enjoy (I can compartmentalize the whole taking orders thing pretty well, it's basically the same thing working in politics). I've never really enjoyed any of the "normal" jobs I've had, even really good paying ones, so the idea of a military career has always been on the back burner in some regard.

Like I said, it's something I explore and consider pretty much every time I realize I'm unhappy in my current job (like right now). I doubt I'll ever go through with it. Maybe post law school, I could probably handle reserve JAG.

I know in the Marine Corps, lawyers and pilots are some of the few officer MOSes that they have no plans on cutting back on when the force reductions hit.

Yeah we did it was pretty nice, we spent a lot of time in mongkok, wanchai, and a few other places. I loved hong kong best port we hit on our short cruise. Next year we'll be hitting thailand, manilla, malayasia, and hong kong again
