Feliz's SO/BB dropped a lot this year, but it's way too soon to make anything from his numbers. He's thrown like, 120 fucking innings in the big leagues. With an arm like that though, there's a reason why he wasn't a starter in the first place, which is like you said probably lack of any secondary stuff. I don't know what his minor league path was, but he should have been set as a starter until he flat out demonstrated that he didn't have the secondary rep to pull it off. Now that C.J. Wilson is gone, the front office wants Neftali Feliz to love from closer to the rotation. He is really young and has a great arm, but he hasn't shown any confidence or consistency in his off-speed pitches. Despite the facts that Texas (Proof: Mitch Moreland plays first base for Texas) and Toronto (Proof: Toronto has money and Adam Lind is a mystery) are the best fits for Fielder, I could see Chicago (more likely Milwaukee imo). Although I don't think your new management will go for it. The Cubs will be burnt to the ground before they can rise again. He is too young to DH, I agree. But in a few years, things will be very different if history and common sense have anything to say about it, which is why I doubt any NL team would want to sign him more than 4-5 years, and any AL team more than 5.
