Dear Matt,

My journey today has been a tough one indeed. Hours and hours worth of wandering on foot, through the mountains and forests; hunted by wolves and bandits. No dragons were spotted, word of my reputation must be spreading quickly. The only trouble lied in Wolfskull cave. Hundreds of necromancers all vying to make me run out of potions. They were almost successful. When I finally finished off the last of those bastards, absolutely not came out of it. WHY DO THEY TAUNT ME, EVEN IN DEATH? I guess, being necromancers, that's sort of their thing.

X's and O's,
Kevin.

P.S. Why are there more iron boots in this world than there are people? For god's sake, folks, make something else.

Dear Kevin,

Just climbed to the top of a big snowy mountain and ran into a shit load of skeletons. Obviously I destroyed them all with ease and kept exploring. I came upon a small wooden door in the cliffside, picked the lock and walked inside. The coffin lid in front of me slams down to the ground and out walks a...

...draugr Deathlord? wtf. It hits me once and takes 75% of my health. I shout to knock it back, potion up, start hitting it with fire and back-pedal. This goes on for a bit until my faithful horse comes to my aid and is IMMEDIATELY slain. Yes, the same horse that earlier killed a dragon..somehow. Now killed before my very eyes. I decide maybe fire is not enough for this foe and pull out my badass battleaxe of depletion...

...and am immediately disarmed.

Back to back-pedaling and fire casting for about 3 minutes until the mighty foe falls to my feet.

Loot the body. 2 Gold.

I go back inside though, and there is some wicked gear and potions.

I miss my horse.

Steel Boots and Leather Bracers,
Mogers

Noblest Matthew,

My day today has been a strange one. I have wandered into the land of Winterhold and found the astounding college of Mages - a place I think you will feel most welcome. Just be warned, do not outrun the woman leading you along the rickety bridge. I grew impatient and ran ahead, only to find my world glitching beyond recognition. A mighty dragon swooped in and promptly found himself stuck in a building. A storm of arrows rained down on the poor beast until he was finally slain. I moved quickly through the college entryway as the snow around me sparkled and flashed, trying to find a way into the tower to claim my soul and bones. HOWEVER, after only five steps into this magical place, I found myself spiraling downwards towards an endless abyss. Luckily for me, the Creator decided to have an underground mountain jutting out of nowhere. My noble hero took refuge as he crashed into the side, swiftly ending his short life. So if you receive only one thing from this entry, be it this: Watch your step, my friend. Those practicing the magics are a shady bunch.

Lost in a labyrinth of dungeons,
Yours truly.

Dearest Kevin,

Last night as you know, I reached out to the farthest corners of Skyrim. My quest took me back to the war ridden city of Markarth. After defeating the gigantic spider known as Nimhe, and traversing the ancient dwarven city ruins that lie past, I was left with more quests to do and not so much along the lines of sweet loot.

Did you get to fuse together that Amulet yet? I sure hope so.

Also, I died about 10 times last night, kept running into packs of Falmers and Dwarf Robots that ruined me... so keep your chin up Kevin!

Brother in arms,

Today seems like kind of a blur. I spent hours contemplating the best way to kill the accursed Forsworn Mage that struck me down dozens of times. Shall I sneak up on him, or run in swinging? Perhaps fire from a distance, or lightning. Alas, he always came out victorious. And then - in my hour of doubt - I remembered the strategy you taught me, dear friend. I Thu'um'd his ass into a corner and hid behind a wall. Unleashing a Flame Atro-thingy into the midst, I shot arrow after arrow until he was dead. The victory had a bittersweet ending, though, when his body contained loot that would upset a poor peasant. Two gold, Mr. Impossible-Mage? TWO? AND A FUCKING IRON AXE THAT EVEN THE WORST BLACKSMITH WOULD LAUGH AT? You are a disgrace.

The journey through this unnamed (or perhaps simply forgotten) dungeon led me to the razor you so brilliantly bragged about. I was able to return the three pieces and the bastard sent me on another quest. I decided to ignore him and go find that museum that you told of in an attempt to increase my lockpicking. They are hard to come by, so it seems, and I would like to get to 100 and never break a pick again.

I hope you're doing well. I wasted too much of my day doing unproductive things. Tomorrow I will have a true story to tell.

May Talos bless you,
Kardner (this seems to work better for your name).

P.S. I totally found that dragon modelled with animal bones. WHAT THE FU?

To my fellow Skyrim Traveler,

I think I have over-burdened myself a bit. I am now up to about 25 miscellaneous quests that I need to do. It's a bit overwhelming and I'm not sure I'm up to it. Morale is low in the Mogers camp at the moment. While I was able to get my lockpicking skill up to 61, I slayed two dragons but didn't have room to pick up their loot. After fast traveling back to my houseshanty cardboard box and dropping off my stuff, I went back for the scales and bones, and their bodies had vanished just like the Dwarven race.

I also have options to join the mighty Imperials, the Stormcloaks or the Thieves Guild.. my my my. What decisions I have on my plate. If only there were some kind of mystical device that could tell me the future of Skyrim based on my actions.

Well here is to slaying some more dragons, and hopefully having the room for their leftover goodies.

Dear Friend,

I would like to apologize at how late my entry is written tonight. The day has been long and cold, and I have not seen much action. I will recall a story of one particular draugar that caught my attention. In the depths of some dungeon, I found myself face to face with three undead corpses. They wanted my blood--or so I imagine; they weren't much for talking. When the two wimps that were acting as bodyguards crumpled, I found myself toe-to-toe with the overlord himself. With the bastard down to half health, I Thu'um'd his ass with unrelenting force. His body soared across the dungeon room and landed in between a table and the wall. He stood and was rendered motionless; easy pickings for the Khajit. As I approached him, he fluttered, and quickly disappeared. To my amazement, he fell through the map and laughed as he went. In a fit of determination to get whatever he carried on him, I threw upon the start menu and loaded up my previously saved game. As the Orc spun round and round my screen, I read the little blurbs that popped up. When one particular sentence would not fade, I noticed the Orc was staring at me, unmoving. I hit my joystick left. Then right. Then in circles. Nothing. When the realization that the game had frozen--AGAIN, I might add--finally hit me, I shut down the world and all that inhabit it. Until another day, the draugar overlord lives to laugh again.

Face palming while waiting on load screens,

Dearest Handsome Kevin,

I seem to have stumbled upon some kind of Super-Bandit camp. My life has perished around 10 times in a row now and I am growing more frustrated by the minute. The only saving grace out of all this is the fact that now when I wound someone bad enough with the bow they take a knee and say, "I surrender!" To which my only reply to my TV is, "The only thing you're going to surrender to me is your ghost!" Then they get an arrow to the back of the head. I have made it to Level 27 now.. no dragons recently.. bummer.

I wish you a grand holiday and may Dibellas blessing find you.

Yours in arms,
M~

We are sorry to hear you feel we may be a bad influence on you. Of course, that feeling will only blossom into a rebel lust, so, in due time, it shall pass. Keep your head high and your loins hot, for some day we will need them you in battle.

Master of Mutton-Chops,

The dungeons today were plentiful; however, they proved to be slightly uneventful. After finding a mace atop the shrine of Mehrune Dagon, no foe has been able to withstand my blow. I have smashed skulls and cut off heads, though the latter seems very implausible to me. How does one cut the head off an enemy with a blunt, fat mace? It is simply illogical and, quite frankly impossible. Sure, their head might be knocked off due to my sheer cat manliness, but a perfectly sliced cut? LoLokay universe. There was one experience that was almost too terrifying to recount. It occurred in a dwarven dungeon, one of many you have warned me about. At first, I was murdering falmer after falmer (those are the blind beasts, right?). Near the end, I was laughing at their feeble attempts to end me. But then, when the light was at the end of the tunnel--literally, the dungeon was opening up again--a centurion attacked. At least, I believe that is what it was. My memory is foggy due to the traumatic sight of that huge, metal monster maneuvering most magnificently. In the end, I came to be the victor, and to the victor go the spoils. Except, in this case, the spoils where a collection of metal parts that are now sitting in a nightstand drawer in my Breezehome.

I live to fight and die another day,
Kay-e-vee-eye-en (why are there so many e's while trying to spell out letters?)

P.S. I must agree that I too have seen a shortage of dragons as of lately! We must be terrifying them too much and they are running from our great power. In the past two days, I have seen but one! And he was too afraid to land and face me. He continuously attacked me from above, but he did not last long. Ha! Ha!

P.P.S. I will be venturing to a (not so) distant land for the next several days to visit those closest to me. I may not have time for adventuring, but if I do, you will be the first to know the tale. I have many notes scribbled in my journals that may lead to future entries in the event that I need to take a few days rest. I hope you will find much rest during these holidays as well. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Gods bless you!

Best wishes!

To my friend Kevin,

I hope you are drowning in a sea of mead and vagina right now. I have recently become a homeowner in Riften, and also learned the ways of Mara. Apparently you wear her Amulet to get Married. Since acquiring and wearing this special token I have had one marriage proposal. It was from a quite ugly Orc Man in Markarth. I'm not quite sure what this means just yet... but it is making both me and my Breton male character nervous.

The house in Riften only cost 8,000 sceptims. You can get a Alchemy Station and FINALLY, a enchantment table. Whiterun is basically dead to me now.

I've managed to kill 3 dragons today alone.. you know what they say, when it rains it pours. Right now it's raining dragon souls all up in my inventory SON.

Best wishes and happy holidays

To my Khajiit Brother,

I did it! I got married in the land of Skyrim. Now my carrying capacity has gone down, my magicka, health and stamina too. I sit around and drink Nord Mead all day and eat Chicken Breasts.

Just kidding!

I completed a side-quest for a female name Mjoll, afterwards I had the option to marry her. She has proven to be quite the ally in your absence. She uses two handed weapons, is also an archer and makes one hell of a pie. She also set up a store out of our house ( the one in Riften ) and gives me money every once in a while.

I stumbled upon a very interesting "stone" today. I found the steed stone to the northwest of Solitude. It increases your carrying capacity by 100 and gives you no movement penalty for heavy armor. My what a glorious day it has been for adventuring. I have 8 dragon souls to spend now... but I haven't learned any more voices to use them on! ACK.

Sincerely yours,
The Undersigned,

Be an mage, all other classes are a huge disapontment. Shooting fireballs and thunder out of yours hands are epic, and raising dead creatures from the ground as if you're god makes you feel like, well god. Mages>game.

If you kill a chicken you get a 20(or 50?) bounty and everyone will hate you and attack you, if you kill a human you'll get a 10 bounty. I like their priorities.

Dear My Fearless Steed,

So word on the dirt trail is that you have a giant Orcish wife who has made plans to castrate you. But you know how things get changed through the grapevine. I'm sure she's very...womanly. Who am I kidding? If she's an Orc, she can't be very appealing on the eyes. What were you thinking, sir? What? Sorry if I'm out of line. I just pictured you with somebody much more better looking, and perhaps in possession of dinosaur outfit. That's just me!

I am sorry I have not had any stories for your eyes. I have found myself resting in Breezehome and spending too much time in The Bannered Mare. But to not bore any passerby's, here is my last adventure. I have managed to gain access to the Thieve's Guild, and their first mission for me did not go as planned. The job to burn down some beehives and sneak around to steal some valuables? Cake. Reality? NOPE. I was caught within seconds of approaching the house. Mercenaries to the left and mercenaries to the right. After killing dozens of blood-hungry mongrels, I gained access to the house. But the action did not stop there. I found the safe without having to kill a single person, except the damn house owner was hiding in a corner by his safe. He did not seem happy that I wanted to steal his stuff. So what did I do? I GRABBED SHIT AND RAN. I was going by the honor code and did not want to kill a man I was told to let live. So I walked away, unscathed. In fact, I walked five hundred miles. And you know what? I would walk five hundred more. To wrap this up abruptly, the thieves still paid me and it should only be days before I am rewarded with the skeleton key. I WILL HAVE IT.

I hope the holidays have found you well. I will return to our lives of adventure and scandals in the new year.

Still angry that I lost my window of opportunity,
Kevin

Dear You,

I was on a quest of epic proportions last night when the whole world around me started getting pretty laggy. I'm not sure if it's because of the grand proportions of my characters build, the quest I was on or the 8,000 hours I put into the game over the weekend. I suppose I will find out tonight or tomorrow.

So apparently now I'm a creature of myth, a Nightingale. I don't want to give it away, but I'm pretty sure it's not as gay as it sounds.

I've got a glass bow now too. It does 37 damage and is enchanted with fire~~ I hope you're impressed.

K,

Guess who is the new leader of the Thieves Guild? Guess who also happened to kill a dragon priest today? After I killed him I ripped his face off and started wearing it around. It might be a mask, but let's just pretend it's not for a minute. These dragons are on to me. They know now that I possess the power to kill their priests, it is but a mere matter of time before I have slayn them all.

I hope your writings are going well, perhaps we will see one of your tales some day.

Every other class is a disappointment? LOL. My 100 sneak dude with lots of archery points 1 shot backstabs most enemies. If I have to go toe to toe with them, I just hit the sneak button with the top sneak perk unlocked and it makes me invisible for a split second, which = another backstab critical.

Big Em,

I'm not sure which to be more impressed with: thieves guild extraordinaire or up and coming dragon overlord. Needless to say, you have won my admiration, good sir. Did you get the skeleton key yet? I wait to hear of it's majesty. I have not yet seen a dragon priest yet, and did not even know they existed. Are they just crazy people with masks on that look like dragons? When I say the name, I can only think of those stupid forsworn people who go berserk. There are still a few days before I will have a new adventure, and until then I will let my imagination run rampant. I hope you are having as much fun in your world as I am in mine.

À tout à l'heure,
Slightly bigger Kay.
