How many people can't play Sundays? That's silly making a team that can only play Tuesdays....

Regardless, it'll come back on them. Those kids will get shit on pretty regularly.

What if THEY can't make it on Tuesdays? The league (you voluntarily signed up for) plays on Sundays, and they are under zero obligation to do anything to accommodate you, little Billy.

From what I've seen its pretty common that people play on days other than Sunday, especially the invite teams. Most teams don't even play at the default time either. I think an hour of you time to play a match is pretty flexible for everyone as long as it's communicated well. Defiance hit the nail on the head with his pred, lol.

While htk are assholes for doing it, not having an emergency plan for when teams refuse to reschedule is also kinda dumb. Pretty sure that Duality, ck, Pepsi, jakimo, blackhawk, and showtime/or shreddies can all play on sundays. Holding out and taking an FF just for Quickscope is pretty dumb.

Let me get this straight. Your team knows that it can't field six on Sundays and still does nothing to remedy the situation week after week. You take it even a step further to imply that the other teams have some obligation to make sure your team can play, without any regard for what's best for THEM.

Had they given into your request everything would have been great and they were cool guys, but when you don't get your way you resort to selfish and petulent sarcasm suggesting that they've broken some "code" in the game. It's just as disrespectful to waste the other teams time and energy by not taking the steps to be able to show up.

In hindsight i probably should not of made a post about this at all. I was mad at our team for the lack of communication about when we were playing and there team for taking the FF win. I was just venting on 1911.

Problems sorted now anyway, we will have to play on sundays with or without members who can only play tuesdays i guess.

Honestly though in the state of todays league play and fielding six. it's hard to let all your members know what time your playing at, or if the default time gets changed. I would like to be able to just check match comm myself [ not be able to propose anything, just a read only type of thing ] and see when the match is.

to clarify this cause i dont think anyone has, quickscope asked to play tuesday and the other team didnt even respond, they just waited till sunday and took the ff win, no discussion about having to play it sunday or nothing, just reported an ff win

If you proposed a match time, and they didnt accept or deny it, then you should get the FF win. Right?

I don't know who said this to you but this isn't true, Kicken. Everybody know that I hate argentineans but this time around, in their defense, all I can say is that there were several attempts, from both quickscope (Jim's) and kampfjeager (htk) to stablish the match date. And in the end, the argentineans said that they couldn't accept playing tuesday because they would have holidays (?!). I don't know whether they wanted to be dicks or not but it clearly wasn't what you've said (they haven't even respond and just took the ff win).

You can find match time out even if you are not team captain /scheduler.

login -> tpg 6v6 site -> schedule on the left bar -> click the week you are looking for -> find your team / read the time next to it.

it will always read 9est until either team accepts a time however. So I always plan on showing up at 9est sunday, but a few hours before I check it and make sure it hasnt been change to 8est or 10est or a different day.

If you play against us it'll probably have to be a Sunday too. Not everyone can be accommodating.

With the argument "why join a Sunday league if you can't play Sunday?" The answer can simply be said as...it's the only league. It's not like TPG2 is back around and people are fragging Tuesday nights.As for what Joel said:

Im sorry but I had to "clarify" this so people can understand that sometimes players come on 1911 and dont tell the truth. I believe kicken was just told a lie and was going by what he was told since there was no way he could have seen this, Only one person from jims could see this. lets so who can figure this out.

I have gotten pm after pm after vent meetings about this ONE match. Then was told if I got a ss from them to give them the ff win. I said I did not need to prove if they had 6 because I believe 100% jims didnt have 6 because I was told that by their own team, and the 1911 forums. Trying to find a loophole with asking me for the ss is BS. If i was not 100% sure what team showed or didnt, I WOULD have gotten one. The other team did NOTHING wrong. I hope this clears things up.

The sad part is that our team could have fielded six on Sunday, it just wouldn't be our best six. Ck, british, Jakimo, Blackhawk, Pepsi, Shreddies, and myself are all available to play on Sundays but due to poor communication on our part we failed big time. Could htk have played on Tuesday if they really wanted to? Probably. But as everyone has pointed out other teams don't have to bend over backwards to accomodate us.

Generally with something that's time sensitive if you don't accept it, it confirms that you have denied an offer.

The match would default...to the default day and time.



Then again, if tpg's current admins are anything like their past admins, intelligent reason wouldn't come into play.

wow. I didn't realize those guys made match comm offers.

I am going to get on as the scheduler for Jim's (if I am not already) but I wasn't around due to being in Cancun for the last week and a half. So when I got back Monday I called Jamie and asked him if our match was going to be Tuesday or not and he said they reported an FF win. I am kinda dissapointed how this worked out, I feel like HTK tried to screw us since we beat them a few weeks ago in preseason and several times in scrims. Whatever though. All is fair.

you'd be better of picking up surfnbird for sunday then using quickscope on tuesday, just saying
