I wouldn't say it "died so quick," I mean compared to starcraft and counter-strike sure. However, keep in mind the game was released beta around 2000, and retailed spring 2003 (1.x), almost 9 years ago. Given the fact that there are as many teams in TPG as there are this long after the fact, is pretty impressive.

How is TPG any less "prestigious" within the DoD community in the present moment than CAL ever was when it's THE ONLY LEAGUE THAT STILL EXISTS?
