So, I'm planning a trip to NYC and I need your help!
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good (relatively cheap, if that's even possible) hotel deals in the area.
Most likely will not have a rental car, so somewhere public transportation-centric would be nice.

Virgin America. 3/23-3/29.
I'm visiting with my brother and, potentially, parents, so snipes is probably not a very good option.
Probably going spend 3-4 days in NYC and visit culinary schools, sightsee, and go to 1-2 amazing restaurants.
Spending whatever remainder in Washington, DC because my brother wants to go.

Budget per night and location? Saying "NYC" do you mean downtown Manhattan? Uptown? Or do you mean you'll spend the evenings in Crooklyn?

Like, hotels.com has some stuff for $100 a night downtown, but I don't know if that's where you wanna be? Otherwise, scout the major chains for ideas - Best Western, Radisson, Hilton, etc.

Hey KirktheJerk! banning fluxx is not cool he's awesome and I have actually been to fluxes house in Brooklyn when we lanned together in the semi finals on careface and it was quite a good time. He is right by Coney Island boardwalk and it's just him and his brother and they are just crazy. All i remembered was no rules no cops and blacks, spics, drunks, pcp fiends, and prostitutes and flux was just cool with some of the most shady and gangster type of people it was quite funny because he is so young. And all of you who think he is a fake gangster or whatever trust me I give you my word that he even surprised me with everything he can do and get over there he was fearless ha. I suggest for a fun time in NYC hitting up flux.

When I travelled to NYC I stayed in Wellington Hotel and it was very good. I don't know what you do in the city but the hotel is in the middle of Manhattan so it's quite near to central park and it have a subway station by the next block.

You could stay in leroy's basement with a bar and a featherless bird guarding the stairs in the morning. Oh, if you do this you might want to learn spanish and get the basics of soccer.

Also practice up on latino volleyball and get used to salty foods.
