Dear DoD friends,

This is really only relevant to people who hold rcon or feel they are responsible enough to have rcon to xmvc server and vent. If you aren't one of those people, feel free to leave the thread!

I am going to be resetting the rcon password to both the xmvc ventrilo and server. There has been some admin abuse and thus the password gets changed. Everyone on koala will have rcon, and I will give it out to other people who are actually responsible with it. This means:

1) You must have the HLTV recording script so that whenever you are playing in the server all you have to do is hit f7 (or whatever key of your choosing) and the HLTV records. This is needed for obvious reasons.

2) Absolutely no admin abuse. You are ONLY to ban from the ventrilo server if someone is being abusive, such as spamming or trying to crash the vent. If they are not causing harm to the entire vent or intervening with others while those people are trying to play, then they are not to be banned. Disliking someone or finding someone annoying is not enough reason to ban them. This is what private channels are for. If you don't want to talk to someone, go into a private channel.

3) Don't make stupid fucking channels. Each team can have a channel, there can be sub-channels for the public, but every admin is not entitled to their own channel. I have my own because I'm fucking special.

4) First 12 people inside the game server play in the 12man. There is no kicking anyone to make room for another player. Period.

5) You are NOT to give anyone this password. I don't care who it is. You can talk to Jarrod or myself if you want to give the password to someone else. The second we so much as suspect that people have been giving this password out, it gets reset and only koala members will have it.

PM me and only me if you want the password.

And if you request rcon and I turn you down, don't take it personally for goodness sake. I'm only giving it to people who I know well, and I'm sure will be responsible with it.

After not reading through your list of qualifications, i think i could use and harness the rcon powers well. ^_^

If i have to challenge you to a Day of Defeat Knife Duel for the rcon password, i will go down that path sir.. and down that path you shall feel cold steel!

Kirk would probably have you knife fight me, considering I get headshots almost every time. A host of people witnessed my skill on that soccer map. They had no chance.
