I really really wanted to tell myself that this was going to be the shit.

Instead I'm telling myself this game is going to be shit.

after watching a longer gameplay video I have concluded that this game looks like shit.

Didn't the guys at Valve quit some company called Microsoft to create Valve?

Maybe it will be shit (It doesn't look very good), but maybe it will work out great. It takes risk to get what you want in life. Seeing as how he already worked at Valve, he's obviously talented.

I just found it ironic that you are saying he made a mistake for leaving a company like Valve...when Valve started because they left a company like Microsoft.

As I understand it, valve kinda screwed the guys who made CS. I'd probably want to do my own stuff as well.

Well, if you got the skills to do something, and the money to do it, then I'd do it too. I belive that's the case for those guys, they'd rather do something on their own that they wanted to do than do something for a company they didn't want to do.
