Don't normally go for the tower defense games, but this one is pretty addicting.
Pretty legit for a free flash game too.

You should get Orcs Must Die on steam. Got it during the 75% off sale and I must say, best $3.49 I have spent on a game. I have been entertained for countless hours. Think of it as a first-person tower defense map.

Pretty fun, but I was bored by the third level. :/ What is Orcs Must Die? I've seen a lot of people playing it.

There's a demo of it on steam if you want to try it out. It's a "trap defense" game, where you get to place traps and also run around fragging orcs as well.

I play this while in duty all the time, its beyond addicting. All the japanese and civilian contractors always look at me funny when they walk by

I went tyrough and got all the 3 stars on easy, so now im doing all the extra stuff. Once i do all that it goes to hard or whatever it is.

Randomly decided to open this up and try playing it again. Now I haven't been able to stop for a while. Stuck on level 11 though...

Been playing the shit out of this game during class.
The level 4 archer and mage towers are crazy powerful, especially the Musketeers with Headshot and Arcane tower with Teleport.

Fully upgraded artillery is the total boss of the game. The cluster bombs can take down groups so fast. Just really expensive so you have to be careful how you go about setting up your build so you can wait it out to get them.

I've been buying the Tesla for my level 4 artillery... will try the other one now.

Depends on what level, and what the rest of your set up is like. I used the tesla a lot too, just depended on what the level was like and how the fights were going. I just found the maxed artillery canon to be the most OP thing int he game it seemed.

I beat it on Normal, I had to redo my skills depending on the lvl every time and changed it up depending upon the choke location I was going for. Was actually pretty fun, only took like a few hours.

i never built artillery.. i maxed out the reinforcements and archers/soldiers. then i just upgraded everything to paladins(so fucking redic when max upgraded) and rangers. upgraded reinforcements to good.

I found myself rarely using artillery, too. I would put up a few soldiers to make giant clusters then meteor the shit out of things. That and a gauntlet of archers for stragglers. It was working consistently until this level.

Sears is right, the maxed-out cluster bomb artillery is pretty ridiculous. The one with Sasquatch has a whole bunch of spiders that come from the bottom right, and that cluster bomb takes care of all of them in one hit. Learning to use the artillery is useful because at least one of the advanced challenges uses only artillery and barracks. I like a trio of Rangers, Arcane, and Artillery around each choke point, and usually try to set up an artillery towards the entry points to soften the groups up.
