So I need to get this all in one printer hooked up, every time I connect the USB cord to my computer nothing happens. No little bubble at the bottom right of the screen, nothing under my computer.

Any ideas? I'm using windows 7 dark 64

Did you install all the motherboard drivers yourself or was it all pre-installed?

SirSears, the drivers are unavailable. The HP website tells me to connect my device and select search the web for drivers. Which is retarded, especially since I can't find them anywhere else.

Anyways, I just hooked it up on my room mate's computer and it worked fine, I think it has something to do with my OS/settings

what's the make and model of the printer??

do you use any other peripheral that connects with usb? do those work? try using a different usb port?

Have you connected the power cord to the printer?

TRY BUYING A MACINTOSH, I LOVE THOSE. THEY ARE EASILY CONNECTED BY CORDS.
