DoJ just siezed the web domains of poker stars, full tilt, absolute and are working on others.

They've issued warrants for 11 of the owners of these companies with more to come.

Sucks to be an American sometimes...

Sounds stupid to me, they're going after online gambling instead of Citigroup and other institutions that have been fucking with numbers that these gambling sites can't comprehend.

That's how we do.

I made a few cashouts last week totaling $1,000 US.

I checked my bank account, $300 of was taken back and put back in my Poker Stars account.

And I got a note saying it will be available for me to cash out once the DoJ approves of a new bank (non-fraud). It's sitting in my pokerstars account now and there has been an agreement reached with pokerstars only to let the deposits resume once everything is done being setup. Full Tilt has yet to strike an agreement with DoJ.

I hope to see it sooner rather than later...I bought some new gear based on that cashout..Im kinda pissed.

Fuck the DOJ and them being able to tell a grown man what he can and cant do with his own money in the privacy of his home.

Pretty f'n lame they could go into my checking account and take back money that's already been processed...

not happy

J

well supposedly the govt opened the sites up to complete cashouts. but the sites having that much money in certain accounts that haven't been frozen is still prohibiting them from doing so. That and 2 of the 3 sites are complete crooks and the 3rd is shady as hell.
