What are the maps looking like? 8 team playoff bracket or all teams (with byes)?

Just curious so I can start nerding out with the Jim's Auto crew...

the rumblings i heard were... rr2 anzio harry.. and all teams make playoffs season determines the seed.. not 100% though.. First week of playoffs will start Sunday March 18th.. The day after I nearly die from alcohol poisoning for the 5th straight year.

not sure in what rotation but from what I heard:

- quarters (rrb2)
- semi (anzio)
- finals (harry)

Obviously that is the logical thing but I know in the beginning of the season there was talk of having all teams in the playoffs and Main has 10 teams in it.

Maybe....

7v10, 8v9 and then

1v(winner of 8v9), 2v(winner of 7v10), 3v6, 4v5

i believe you want the 1 and 2 seed on opposite sides.. and rr2 anzio harry seems like the better combo to me.. anzio is more of a semi finals map imo.. rr2 is good.. that train route just irks me.

watch out for plain clothes.

I think there should be some kind of grand championship after playoffs. Maybe between the teams that make the finals, excluding open. I think it would be a fun addition.

This is how it should be if there is 8 teams. Donner is a great playoff map too, it can be frustrating but it can be a good upset map..

What about for main a 10 team blind draw for placement? I understand it kind of defeats the purpose of the season standings, but it could be something different. Maybe 1&2 get a bye and the rest is randomly placed?

i thought it would straight go on with no more interruptions.

TPG Season 27 is coming to a close after this weeks matches on dod_solitude_b2. TPG will be giving a week off between week 8 and playoff rnd 1. During this week any teams that have ff's can make them up with teams within their division. Teams may also do them before that week. If you do, contact an admin or create a support ticket including the end round screenshots. If you plan on playing your make up match on the sunday or anyday before wednesday before playoffs, contact an admin and we will set up your match in the TPG match comm.

We really don't need any time off between playoffs and regular season...

I'm on SB this weekend I need the week off...

the grand championship idea seems kinda cool. could be fun.

I'd agree if the competition were better.. 99.9% of the teams in main stomped their feet and stuck their fingers in their ears when they were in invite..

Granted theres still one match left.. something like this

I edited it based on wins from the lower three. RR has one victory against a team moved down to main, da victory is against RR, and NFC has a win against THUNDER with two other wins thrown out against main teams.

We still have one match to play... apparently, against a team who have jarrod, jules, miller, seven, airnick and ben "guyONaBUFFALO" savin.

Correct. Brackets are as they stand now. Would jump you from 8 to 6.

Ok I lied. I need this week off. I broke my mouse and won't get the new one till monday-wednesday. :X

Anyways; when will the maps for playoffs be released? I've seen tpg admins speculate, but I'd rather not guess what map to scrim this week.
