So, who saw the season finale and what do you think next season is going to be like?

p.s. no spoilers if you've read the comics.

Just started watching the show last night, it's addictive. But what's up with these short ass seasons?

Yeah, they do that whole mid-season hiatus thing. It's kinda lame.

On top of that season 3 doesnt air until like October...

Next season is gonna be the best I think. Their new "home" looks awesome.

Just watched the finale and I'm excited for next season. I read the comics and I was really hoping it would go the way I think it will. Season 3 should be amazing because they look to be bringing in Michonne who is a bad ass. Especially since all the other characters are becoming ridiculously whiny. Not sure how much longer I can take Lori.


The most important question that needs to be asked, though, is why the fuck did Hershel's shotgun have at least 50 shells in it? Dear god.

Here's what we know so far, there will be another black person on the show next season, tdog and that crazy bitch who has the zombies in chains. One of them must go, i vote Tdog because he's been useless as fuck and his story is going nowhere.

If I had to pick between Lori and Carol...it's tough. I mean, I really I dislike Carol a lot...
But in the end, no character on any TV show I've seen has bothered me as much as Lori. Not going to lie, I accidentally said, "Yes!" when I thought Lori/Andrea were about to die in the finale.

For fucking real... she starts crying when her son actually grows the the fuck up and shoots a Shane after he turned. I'm sorry lady, you're not going to have a "normal" son in a zombie apocalypse if you want everyone to live. She manipulates everyone with her shit all day long too.

EDIT: Also, I agree Carol should die, they can't even use her to reproduce, at least that's why the young girls should be staying around in my opinion.

The only woman that really does anything is Andrea. I think she'll get better in the 3rd season now that Shane is gone. Maggie is touch and go. But I mean, she's with Glenn and he's a boss so she's fine in my book.

Agreed with what everyone has said. Carrol was #1 on my wish list to get taken out but Lori has since taken that spot. The shotgun was ridiculous but I'm glad Hershel lived. He's starting to seem the most reasonable out of all of them.

I want carol, lori, tdog, andrea, and carl to die. I almost torrent the show instead of just watch it just so I can skip their scenes. damn. dale was a good juxtaposition on the old world in the new world, shame he was gone :/.

Andrea and Carol needs to dipset. I'm liking Rick's new identity.

Haha, you're so right Kevin... One of these times she's finally going go be unlucky going after him. Like when she took that car and crashed it like a dumb bitch, I was so excited for there to be more walkers surrounding her car. But alas, there were only two. =(

Looks like it's a huge prison. I don't want to assume, but if it is a prison, wouldn't it be full of walkers? I mean, EVERYONE is infected and turns when killed. So a lot of those prisoners should still be locked up and dead from starvation, yet reanimated as walkers now, right? It just seems too close and convenient, although Rick did say they were running on red for an hour. Shits going down, I can't wait for October. I still gotta get Netflix and watch Season 1 & part of 2; I didn't start watching until Sophia just got lost in the woods.

Bad move, why did you start watching it so late, you missed a lot. you should definitely watch season 1 & up to where you didn't see in season 2, it's worth it.

Well I didn't know about the show until people started talking about it on here. I really don't watch TV except for the few shows I record (Ultimate Fighter/Deadliest Catch/Alcatraz/Wilfred) and some ESPN. I'm definitely getting Netflix and watching season 1, but I'm not sure how soon they'll have season 2 out.

I had a lot of hope for the show after season 1, but season 2 made me feel that although I will enjoy the show for pure zombie killing fun, I am not sure how invested I can be in it. The characters are annoying and so black and white that it is infuriating. Staying on the farm for the entire season was a horrendous idea, so seeing that thing on fire brought happy feelings!

I feel the same about the farm. I was hoping they would leave it after the mid-season finale thing.

This show needs to not have seasons and just continue.

So does season 1 end at the CDC? Netflix only has 6 episodes for the first season and it ends at the CDC blowing up. Not sure how much I missed of season 2, but hopefully it will be on there soon.

I just watched the whole series in 3 days, lol. It's been great so far, but I really hope some new main characters get introduced into the series. It's getting old with the same repeated drama. Carol should have died at the farm, and I wish they'd do something about Tdog. I'm pretty sure they don't even have him in some of the episodes. I sincerely hope this show doesn't get canceled after a few good seasons, it's been happening with every show I've watched lately.

I love the comics but I love the fact that both of the worlds are totally different, I really enjoy the tv show. Things you should know.

THESE ARE NOT SPOILERS if you watched every episode and read most of the comic

Sophia in the comics is still alive and shes a main character. TV Show she dies.

The next location, (which yes it is a prison, ok that was a small spolier) the group wasn't chased to. In fact the farm stays around for a while. Glen separates with the group and stays with his bitch.

Rick never gets himself into a tank at the start of the comic and he didn't ride in with a bunch of guns. He does in the TV show.

There is no Daryal or TDog in the comic.

Shane gets killed by Carol when he is alive. Carol shoots him in the neck and they go back to hunt down shane when they find out everyone is infected.

There is no CDC or any real hint into whats going on anywhere with the virus in the comic. The TV shows talks about a lot of areas.

Lori only sleeps with shane ONCE in the comic and regrets it, while in the TV show they make it seem like it was a multiple sexual encounters.

Dale doesn't die until a lot further in the comic. He even gets bit twice before he finally dies. He gets his foot cut off and his arm.

I really don't see the TV staying true to the comic and I hope it doesn't. I want two different walking dead universes. If they were both the same then what the fuck is the point of the TV show.

The way Dale bites it in the comics is one of my favorite story arcs in the comics. It was one of the times when I felt like they were showing the true side of what humanity would turn into.

Dale doesn't lose his arm I'm confusing that with something else.

The way he dies in the comic is kinda awesome. I hope those characters get thrown into the series quickly for like two episodes.

I think the way the group reacted to Rick's news about Shane was a little ridiculous... I mean how would anyone benefit from knowing they're all infected? If I were in that situation (lol) I honestly wouldn't care much at all. I'd just be more disappointed in the fact of the matter that I'm infected rather than someone keeping it a secret from me.

You only missed like 7 episodes or so. Season 1 was really cool- better than 2 imo. Only six episodes.
