It was 11:35 pm at night when Pat messaged me. This was a bit unexpected as I had not heard from Pat in months given my hiatus from the community.

"Hey, Pat, how's it going?"

Just making your typical chit-chat, nothing profound. I was unsure what to expect after such a long time of no contact, so I played it safe. Pat, on the other hand, had an agenda which would turn this night into something memorable. "Kirkfield," he said, "we are about to ban Aimtek and I would like you to make the thread."

My eyes gleamed, my hands trembled, my heart raced. Aimtek had long been my GotFrag nemesis in the "old days." A known cheater whom Alan Williams and myself would strike down every chance we had, in hopes of running him out of the community as we ran JoelW out. A noble effort which alas did not come to fruition, as his enormous mass was much too large for the likes of two normal-sized adults to handle.

"Why yes, Pat, I would be honored to make that thread," I replied. Ready for the task at hand; for my long-awaited vengeance.

So here we are, folks. Here is the official declaration of Aimtek's defeat. Caught for cheating by our courageous TPG-ac, his hacks could not last against the wisdom of Narc, Pat, and some other people who work for the anti-cheat team whom I do not know, but I assume they're wise. Without further hesitation:

TPG says they don't release demos which are the property of another person who is not being accused of cheating. If I gave a 12man demo from my server to TPG, I would expect that they do not take away my right to choose whether it gets released to the public or not, either.

Submitting falsified evidence to a TPG admin, either intentionally, or unintentionally, will result in a six month suspension. Submitting demo(s) and/or screenshot(s) as your own, that belong to another player, will result in a six month suspension.

Any player disputed in a TPG match cannot release his/her demos to the public until a dispute has been closed by TPG. Any player who does, will be suspended for two weeks and if found cheating, this will be added on to your suspension.

Players cannot release private conversations/messages/e-mails between admins and players about TPG disputes to the public.

Yesterday, I heard through virus who sent you the HLTV demos that you said he was legit.

Now he's banned, and best of all, you have none of the status screenshots to go along with those demos. ( i took them and recorded the demos)

Just sayin'... system sure as hell ain't perfect.

Is talking to an admin through steam chat when they don't have TPG admin tags on official now? I thought the support ticket system was the only "official" means of communication with TPG admins. As far as I can see, D-bo was just talking to some kid who happened to know the TPG rules.

I have been saying something is wrong with the system for a long time.

Some of the AC's do more fishy things than aimtek in scrims. Just sayin.

Please don't tell me Defiance is an AC admin either. What the fuck is this community coming to?

1) I imagine them saying he was legit was not a final decision, but maybe the opinion of one or two AC? Just a guess.

2) You don't need status screenshots as they can tell SteamID through the demos alone.

You should definetly need rcon status if you're going to ban someone, just because he's on a steam account dosent need to be that the owner is playing.
