narc said he would run it, and cevo never got back to him.
cevo also said they never want to deal with DoD again, because none of them have had good experiences with DoD players.

Seriously guys, let it go.
Cevo can't take on a new league unless it is worth it for the $. If they could get at least 50+ teams to sign up, pay, and play the whole season, maybe. But, we are in no way capable of doing that.
Have fun, play tpg, 12 man, move on.

I know you think you are right about CEVO not getting the money to make it worth while... but in all honesty CEVO is getting its ass kicked by ESEA. I just quit CS:S and I know that no one gives a damn about CEVO in the CS:S community and right now its community is almost as big if not bigger than the CS 1.6 community so that really means CEVO is getting shit on.
In one hand I don't really see much incentive for CEVO to pick up DoD but in the other I think they might just do it to get more hits and talk about CEVO.

The last season of CEVO we had was a free season, so can't see why we can't have another one!

Lets focus on making tpg a little bigger before people start talking about cevo. Anything is possible.

That pretty much sums it up, we'd need like minimum 40 or 50 teams for it anyways, now we'd barely be able to get 20-30

There is 32 teams in TPG, getting 8 more can´t be that hard.

you got 100 more DoD nerds hiding out somewhere??

6 people per team x 8 teams = 48 people. Or 64 people if you put 8 people on each team.
If you need any more help on that math stuff Mr. MENSA, I'm always around.

Most active teams average 12 players on their roster. So, my rounded estimate of how many hiding DoD nerds we would have to uncover is slightly higher. But what would I know, I was never involved with running any leagues or anything...

I was thinking about finding a few pub clans, and since some old teams/players are coming back i don´t think that finding 8 more teams is impossible.
