The real question here is did k3 ask for the FF Win? From what I heard it sounds like Biggie was banned at 9:00pm, right when their match was supposed to start. Their team was immediately forced to FF by admins, and then marked inactive, because they were given a FF loss.

I don't know how much of this is true... but. Why wait to ban someone right at 9:00pm when they are supposed to play a match?

Assuming that is the only time you could do it.. or if you just found out they were getting banned. okay. But why automatically give the other team a FF Win?

We were in server when i was told biggie was banned. We had 6 in server, +D-bo. He told us they only had 4 and they were FF. So we reported and scrimmed a blt/slow loris pug.

What kind of hyjinx happened with this thing that Ricky refers to?

Nothing really, the only part that is legitimately fucked up is waiting until 9pm to ban him. That's pretty lame.

From where I'm sitting it looks much sketchier than it actually is. Biggie gets banned at 9pm; we're trying to figure out when he actually crashed a server and how they could even prove it; match is reported as a FFW even though it seems nobody wants to do that and taylub is just as disappointed as we are about how smelly this situation is; then we're immediately set inactive even though we still have 6 players on the roster. All that gives the impression that Pat just wanted to kill the team--which worked--even if most of that is coincidental or more than meets the eye.

The funniest part for me is the fact that Narc messaged me like 5 minutes before this happened asking me if we were playing tonight because he needed a ringer, and I told him we were. Then biggie gets banned right after that. I'm not implying anything there, but I did make lots of jokes about Narc banning biggie so that I could ring for him instead.

I'm guessing that he wasn't privy to the impending ban or he would've mentioned it, but then it's pretty odd that someone would get banned for life without everyone being aware of the situation. If that's the case then Pat just unilaterally banned someone forever. If that's not what happened then the other admins can chime in to clarify this if they like.

taylor and i had been spoken throughout the day about the possibility of either team being short on players.. around 9 we even mentioned pushing the match back till 9:30 in hopes of others showing up by then.. regardless, for some reason there was a ff reported, and our team was listed as inactive.. oh and d-bo isn't even on our roster.

but yea gskill is dead so none of this matters anymore

Ok I will try and clear this up. A ticket got made friday about biggie crashing 2 different game servers. Most of you already know that weekends I am with my fiance and family. I dont do any TPG work. If I do its rare. My admins went threw the evidence and verified it was him and he did infact crash the servers. So it was just waiting my approval to go ahead and make the suspension before the next matches. It was getting late on sunday night that I got a text informing me about the whole situation. Once I got home, I had to try and get 6 for my match. I gave pat the go ahead to add the suspension because I was busy. I had the final say I gave the go ahead, Pat was following my orders thats it. I was running late and thats why it was posted so late. But if someone is crashing servers as the rule states its a permanent ban. That person should NOT be able to play a match the same week he crashed servers. So yes it was kind of a last minute ban because I got home late, but it was not ment to screw any team last minute I am sorry that it did. I just got home late, to actually give the go ahead. As for motive, when I asked you if you were playing and to ring, I honestly didnt even know what team you were on. That is why I didnt say anything to you about the ban. I really didnt put two and two together till you made that post.

I hope that shed some light on the subject. I dont regret the ban and I hope it sends out a good messege to the kids that want to crash servers.

Also for teams that allow banned players to scrim with them, how can you get mad at a team for not wanting to scrim you? They say no and you crash thier server. Why would they want to play a team that has no problems allowing a banned player to scrim with them. I dont blame them and support them 100%.

Also TPG had nothing to do with setting your team inactive. When the other team reported an FFW the site automatically sets the team inactive. I went ahead and set the team back active once I seen it. Our policy is to wait until the team that is set inactive to create a ticket and request to be set back active. However I did not wait for a ticket because of the situation.
