This trayvoning thing started whena kid was shot here in Memphis while leaving a local grocery store. Apparently someone took a pic of him laying there dead with skittles and tea next to him. Now its the new internet craze, kinda sad.

i thought it was when a black kid named trayvon was shot while he had a bag of skittles and a can of tea.

zimmerman was on the phone with the operator following him i think in his car? maybe it was on foot but he got shot right by his house zimmerman was the neighborhoods watch.

The pics they're posting of the 17 year old kid seem ridiculously dated. He was well over 6' tall and wasn't the child he's portrayed as in the photos shown by the media. Zimmerman was all bruised and had cuts on the back of his head from Trayvon slamming it into the concrete. Zimmerman also has a previous record though.

Its going to boil down to if the jury thinks Zimmerman was the aggressor. Apparently Trayvon's father slipped up and said it wasn't his son yelling for help in the audio clips.

Edit: What I want to know is why there wasn't hardly any media attention about the 20 year black guy who killed a white WW2 vet and his wife (after sexually assaulting her). Yet they call Zimmerman a white male when he's clearly Hispanic.

the guy was clearly the aggressor. he went against the 911 dispatchers requests and confronted the kid. thats not the job of a civilian unless hes looking for trouble. there was no crime being committed at the time, so there was no reason for Zimmerman to be anywhere near the kid.

and the FBI already said they cant determine whos voice it is, so his dad saying anything is baseless in that regard.

and yes, there have been a number of black on white crimes where the perps supposedly said it was in revenge for trayvon. the media never reports black on white hate crime. that would mean racism goes both ways, cant be admitting that.
