haha. I spent 126 and got 52 back this semester. Spent another 200 on photopaper, hopefully seeing some returns in that, but I doubt it

Depends on what you're studying. I couldn't sell any of my neuroscience books back because they get updated so fucking fast.

I just buy my books on amazon now because the buy back is so terrible.
A lot of my upper level Computer Science classes didn't have books so I was fortunate.
Any of the books I do buy, I usually hang onto as references, but I try to "obtain" a soft copy whenever I can.

This past year I've taken classes that others I know already had so I only had to buy 1 book I think. Otherwise I've been renting books on chegg or just not buying the book at all.

Ahh, education, the next bubble to burst socially and economically in the United States.
Thank god as an English and Poli Sci major you could find cheap Penguin books for a lot of the reading. My junior and senior years I think I spent a grand total of $200 on books taking 18 credit hour semesters.
Law school was an entirely separate financial travesty. Not going to buy a text book that is 800 pages long when we only read 100.
