Hey all,

I am not sure if any of you remember playing with/against DarkWing ... A.K.A. DW/DarkWing Duck... he was a KWI member for a long time, he passed away last month from a very brief battle with cancer. The gaming community has lost a great, long time member.

Ziggy and I played with him almost every night on the xbox 360 for the past 5 yrs.

Yeah I remember him. Sorry to hear that. DoD community has lost way too many over the years for such a small group. What kind of cancer did he have, must have caught it late?

RIP

that is unfortunate. Sometimes we all forget how fragile the human life really is.

Sears, It was Kidney cancer. It was caught way to late, there was no chance. We were online one night and he kept complaining that his back was bothering him, next day he was in the hospital.... had one kidney removed. They then found more tumors all through his body. They tried to treat him for about 2 weeks with no luck. From the time they found it, to his death was less than 2 months. He died the day before his 52 bday.

Sorry to hear all this. Happens all too often. There's gotta be a cure soon...

No. There is no cure for uncaught spreading cancer. There never will be. There are tons of treatments for the early stages but no... sadly no treatment for spread uncaught malignant cancer.

Didn't know the guy but none the less my dad died on my birthday and it brings back some memories. Too bad he didnt make it just a little longer.

RIP brohiem
