Another "seeking moviemaker post".

As the guy who started this Euro League I want it to survive. You guys have no idea who 95% of the players are over here. I've been watching and promoting your scene as an example of what we could become when playing here. If both the NA and EU scene gets some attention from eachother, it could only make things better. So to make our scene a little bit more fun, entertaining and interesting I'm looking for someone with some spare time.
So my question is, do you still make FOTW for your own seasons? If so, would anyone be willing to put some nice frags together, add a tune and hit upload?

Euros don't make movies? Or do they need an abundant amount of PCW footage in order to do so?

If I had any skills, I could have do a few. At the moment I only have a laptop to work in. So, I can't do any 720p recordings or record in 120/180fps
But I think I'll have my pc here in 1½ week. Also, having a time would be great, to bad I don't know how my scheduele will be in the next weeks.

2 hits in one shot. I don't think there's any moviemakers like Chris and bullgoose in the euro scene, I guess they disapeared/went active in making movies when the scene kinda died. Last years so have the euro scene had like 20teams as maximun, right now around 10 teams, you guys have like 40 teams from I to O,
also we don't have so many good teams right now, zOo, RenameD, GATHERBOIIS and maybe Amnesia that have players with a big experience from leagues over the last years. (I can be wrong)

Tox, we havent had anyone making FOTW since 2005 probably. People make their own fragmovies occassionally. But it was hard enuf convincing people to even play. So asking for someone to make clips each week never crossed my mind. But if there is any euro wanting to do this, absolutely.

Sixten, yea I did my own movie, took ages. Big freaking headache. And I dont have that spare time im talking about.

Seeing how you guys play the same maps on the same days as us, I wouldn't see a problem combining american/euro fotw's

Its a good idea combining american/euro because american have alot of teams. We only have 8 active teams until now. From this teams what we can get of frags?? To make a nice fotw or we combining or we make a movie for this season. FOTS xD

I think the american TPG league here will be hard pressed to even find someone who is willing to do FOTW each week. There was no FOTW last season, hopefully that will change this season.

As an addendum to my previous post, IMO the Euro league needs to also promote their league as well. Now I am sure you are working your ass off to get people to join, but why not do an article for 1911 introducing the new teams to TPG. You can do the article, then possibly translate it to cross any type of language barriers, and I am sure Sears can just link to the different languages from the Original English post. Give the other European players something to see on the front page of the Community Forum, that way they do have something to view and feel like they are getting the attention they deserve and feel more apt to joining the league.

Doing FOTW together is a great idea. If anyone is up for it, it would be awesome.
Or maybe have FOTW not every week, twice or once a month?

The reason I havent done any article yet. Is because there are still teams applying. Hopefully within 10days, I'll put something up there.

I don't know about you guys. But I want 1337 rep like calli.
Or no rep at all.

I allready tried to get rid of my rep in the kaboom video thread. But now I'm under 1337 but still nowhere near 0.
Is there a way to just set it to 0 and keep it there?

I was actually thinking of making a FOTW for week1 this season. With both NA and EU playing the same map there will be a lot more footage to work with. Hopefully week1 is a good map!

I was hoping that you would be up for this kab00m. I could go through all the euro editions so only the best go through, making it easier for you.

It's a cool ideia, even knowing last season no one maded any FOTW! Maybe kabbom and badnewspanda didn't get enough footage to do so. Hope this season someone will make some FOTW! There's still people who is able to bring some FOTW like bullgoose shizz jaggon kabbom badnewspanda, but i guess some of them are busy with theyr own project's. I think Evans will do some movie about EvC last season! But there's only a guess!

Anyway, thumbs up for those who will be interested and get this stuff going on!

if you send in your demos for FOTW you need to tag them otherwise i beliefe the clips dont get in, if you get only one or 2 demos by one person you already got 80 demos in tpg US only :p

I'll make a post closer to week 1 with the instructions on how to submit since it's about 2 weeks away.
