LMAO... not jealous at all, that shit just pisses me off, especially when it's one of the gym rules "Keep shit down and don't drop weights" yet this guy constantly does it... it's so much fun

The thing is he barely slows before dropping. Still has another rep or two for most of those and each time could easily reset instead of drop.

rofl I love the flames.
but seriously... I agree my form doesn't look great in that picture and has definitely improved since then. That was my first time attempting over 500. If I remember correctly he caught the picture at a moment where I had to pause on the up and up, the weight was resting on my knees right before that moment.
I don't normally take pictures of myself, it was just something my buddy did when we were at the gym.
But remember I am a good source for conversation.

Lift? Not even once. Misc...?

Nice shoes, bro. With that kind of subpar attire I'm surprised you aren't wearing gloves. You wear a pussy pad while squatting, too? Nice form. Because having a functioning spinal cord is overrated. Natty? Be honest. Judgment-free zone here, bro. Based on the last picture I saw of you maybe a few months back and your experience in lifting (the fact that you've done it for a few years, if I recall), I wouldn't be surprised if you were cycling something here. Also the fact that you talked about getting into the ster0n game not long ago.
Aka, you are cycling. My mind is made up.
Side-note: the fact that your biceps/delts are that big and you're struggling to pull 500 is interesting to say the least. Were you one of those bros who just did upper body for the first few years of lifting or something? No hate, that was me years back~

Not a flame man, just out of genuine concern for you not fucking yourself (or in general, looking like an idiot), I would strongly recommend you back way off on the weight until actually develop the actual strength to do the lift properly. As there is literally ZERO benefit to doing what you are doing in that picture (it won't make you stronger, it won't make you "bigger"). All you are doing is putting yourself a great risk for injury, which unfortunately if you don't remedy now, you will find will become a major problem as you get older.
It's really a simple process in building mass on any particular part of your body, isolate with heavy weight and eat some chicken breast. However, that's NOT what olympic style lifting is for (just as it's not meant for cardio, stupid crossfitters). Olympic style lifts are compound exercises meant to develop a great deal of strength throughout the body. You're doing it wrong, and that worries me because of how many people I've seen hurt themselves over the years, some quite seriously.
I understand the desire to lift heavy weights, but it's totally pointless in this endeavor. That's great that it was the "first time you had tried 500 pounds". But, you're missing the point that you're much better off doing the exercise properly @ 300 lbs both from a mass gaining and strength building standpoint.
Just the way that you are standing in that picture, and the position of your feet, makes it totally impossible for you to have any hip drive, which is the ENTIRE POINT of the exercise.
You just look dumb, and I feel bad for you bra. Just trying to help.

If at any time you are lifting in which you can't maintain that simple form, you are doing way too much weight, and much more harm than good to your body.

basically what sears is trying to say is: enjoy your wheelchair goals of 2012 mother fuckerrrrrrrrrr. And Joey, I could pull 500 for 1, although my form would look exactly like his and I'd have to find a decent chiropractor, no thx.

Dont worry sean, you look sexy either way, and really isn't that the whole point of going to the gym in the first place? Bigger douche bags trying to make themselves look cool in front of other douche bags. Sears you can hate on crossfit all you want but at the end of the day it pays to be more flexible and have exploding power then being able to lift heavy stationary weight. The only reason to even lift like that is if your going to be in some kinda competition, if not then your just playing with fire. You might be able to deaflift 500 pounds but whats that gonna do when I hit you in the face 10 times before you've even realized whats happend? Point being light weight + high reps > low weight + low reps. And yes bros I do in fact lift and have been since I was 16. Do i lift heavy and do things like squats and deadlifts? Absolutely not. Btw even with good "technique" you still run a high risk of having issues when your older. It just doesn't pay to do cycles and lift heavy, bad for the body all around.
I VANT TO POMP U UP FULL OF STEROIDS SO U CAN BE ON THEM THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. Arnold and Sylvester Stalone have plenty of money to keep taking hgh until there 90, unfortuantly the rest of us can't afford this so we end up gettting all saggy. If you over juice yourself like poor Arnold then you will run a high risk of producing very low test for the rest of your life. I dunno about you guys but id like to achieve a boner without medicine when im 40.

The people who are the best at crossfit don't actually do crossfit to train because crossfit doesn't train your body efficiently. Lifting heavy weight is the basis of strength development. Lifting heavy is not the only training you need to do in order to become a better athlete.
Also, why are you hitting people ten times in the face jerk?

Newp! Just one of two small time gyms in this bumfuck nowhere town. I mean grunting isn't bad... that I'm fine with, but when you sound like a woman tennis player every time you do a deadlift or squat you're goin over the line. Last night the guy was fucking making noises on the elliptical... who the fuck does that?!
